We were recommended this by colleagues and had seen it down by the quayside. The pub has a really good traditional feel to it and has a nice bar area with a good beer selection including the Dungarvan brewery. The menu is not extensive but has a good range of seafood. I went for the sirloin steak which was beautiful.... More

A charming restaurant beside the harbour in Dungarvan. The food here is excellent and fresh and reasonably priced. My Lemon sole was simply delicious. My partners Thai red curry was also delicious. The staff were friendly and pleasant.

I have visited the Moorings for dinner on multiple occasions. And it never lets you down. Food is always top quality and the staff are great. Friendly and helpful. Restaurant can lack atmosphere, but the bar/snug area is fantastic.

Never do reviews but had to give a word of advice to staff at this restaurant... A customer doesn't mind waiting if they're acknowledged. Walking around avoiding eye contact is not good customer service. Nearly did a runner because nobody wanted to take my money although I was at least 8 minutes standing at the bar (packed with staff by... More

Went for a Saturday night meal. Restaurant was full and the ambiance was good. Both my wife and I enjoyed our meals and price was fair

We dropped in for a lunch on a cold day. Without a booking we had to wait for 20 minutes or so to be seated in this popular local hostelry. We wanted only a quick lunch and selected the seafood chowder, which was delicious, a large bowl complete with soda bread and granary slices. Generous and tasty all round.

Of all the places to eat in Dungarvan I'm glad we chose here. It is just by the harbour and very atmospheric. The staff were friendly and helpful and we were made to feel very welcome. There was an excellent range of craft and other ales and the food was really good. Would certainly reccomend and would visit again.

Visited here Tuesday night and it was nice and quiet. The food and service were both great! I had the salmon and prawns which were cooked perfectly and full of flavour. My boyfriend had the chicken and fries basket which he really enjoyed. The chicken goujons were full of flavour. Definitely recommend this place when in Dungarvan. Great atmosphere!
