Brilliant first impression... Really enjoyed this cozy restaurant... Me and my husband were completely happy to wait in the bar room first, having a chance to look at the menu, get a drink and prawn crackers, then we were seated in the actual restaurant for a main meal which didn't take long to be served although it was busy Valentine's... Had a wonderful meal here. We both had Bang Bang Chicken as a starter. I have Roast Duck Cantonese style & my husband had War Tap Chicken. We were made to feel very welcome and it was nice to be able to sit in the bar area, have a drink while we chose from the menu. Looking forward to going... More

We are local and regular to the restaurant. The service is always friendly. As a vegatarian the set menu is great. The price is slightly more then other local Chinese restaurants but this is completely different to the usual and offers good value for money. All freshly cooked. Also welcoming to families -our daughter likes the fish in the bar... More

This restaurant provided us with a delicious meal in a quiet, spacious seating area. The take-away section was separate, so you were not disturbed by constant comings and goings with carrier bags! The service was excellent and the food amazing.

A little pricier than other Chinese restaurants but it's cooked fresh and not microwaved. Kum po prawns and salt chilli courgettes are probably the best things I've ever had in a Chinese. Very welcoming staff with a lovely chilled out atmosphere.

Its like walking in to a time warp but that only adds to the experience. It was nice sitting in the bar area deciding what we wanted to eat and they even bought out some complimentary prawn crackers whilst deciding. The waitress is lovely and very friendly and the food was very nice, loved the chicken satay. Good atmosphere, would... More
