We ate here as a small family group and could fault neither the service nor the food. Delicious curries and English options, with impeccable service from the team and even complimentary drinks to finish the meal. A thoroughly enjoyable evening.
Looking at all the reviews on this website about coleshill, Balti Cottage had the best food & hygiene rating from 0-5 balti cottage had 4. Other restaurants had poor rating so I decided to have a meal in Balti cottage, one of the best meals i had for a while. Staff was very helpful and welcoming. Highly recommended for people... More
Ate here after a work conference - speedy, courteous & attentive service, a wide-ranging menu, and skilfully prepared (and of course beautifully seasoned) dishes. This is a place to put on your bucket list, to be sure.

Please don't get confused. I was born & bred In maxstoke & I still know this amazing Indian restaurant as The Golden Tandoori. Was my sons first visit for a curry but me & mum quite experienced. When... More
This was our third visit to the Balti Cottage, and must say the chicken chat starter is superb. My wife who is an curry master of many years, couldn't fault the entire meal " one of the best I have ever tasted" . For her to say that it must be good. See you on our next visit. Thumbs up... More
Had previously visited (and reviewed) and said I would return. We did return after a long hiatus. I had enjoyed the previous visit so much I was keen to try other things on the menu. Maybe this was an error. The tandoori mackerel looked spectacular but the fish although meaty in texture couldn't stand up to the spice and its... More

I accompanied with my wife will be visiting Birmingham from 10-14 April and would like to find a nice Indian restuarant to eat. As I frequently write for Tripadvisor I like to see the customers reviews to find a nice place to eat and good hotel to stay. It is important for me to look for two things:
(i) restuarant which provides very good Indian food becaue I have travelled a lot in my life and enjoy good food; and
(ii) my wife has mobility problem. So, I am looking for a restuarant where they have their own parking or other parking facilities available within 15-20 metres. She is a Blue Badge holder.
