The room was clean, the TV worked and the bed was comfortable. What else do you want? Sitting on the balcony gave a interesting view of Lund activities.

'Nuff said. Bar is good and full of local characters, some with an amazing amount of hair, on a Friday nite. Be prepared to justify your very existence. Eat somewhere else.

This is our second visit to Lund in 3 years and our second time staying at this hotel. We stayed in the superior rooms at the waterfront side and they have an excellent view of the marina, the water and sunsets. The rooms are large, feel luxurious have comfy king-sized beds and have showers and bathtubs. They also have a... More

The Food was just ok and the Service was not good. The roast beef sandwich was terrible and could not eat at all. We told the waitress but she said just had one and it was good. She did not offer to give the money back so had to pay for a dish we could not eat. Would not recommend... More

We went on a five day sea kayaking tour out of Lund with Terracentric. The hotel provided comfortable accommodation to prepare us at the beginning and refresh us at the end of our camping trip. The breakfast was fine and the front desk kindly kept our baggage for the duration of the trip and helped us to book a taxi.... More

Had dinner on the deck which was a lovely spot. Good mussels and calamari. Salads were huge. Had an inexperienced young server who tried really hard. He even gave us our leftover wine in a paper up to take home!

Located at mile Zero of the Pacific Highway 101, this historic hotel sounds more romantic than it turns out to be. It has an interesting and storied past. The original Lund Hotel, built in the 1800’s, burned down in a forest fire. The current hotel was apparently constructed as the Malaspina Hotel between 1905-1911 and later renamed the Lund Hotel.... Interesting place to see. Beautiful setting and full of history. We arrived via boat and were greeted by a hotel staff member who took us to the dining room. We were given a talk on the history of the hotel. There were a lot of photos throughout the hotel depicting the history. The food was very good and since we... More

We stayed two separate nights here, while doing a kayak trip with Powell River Seakayaks. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Beds were firm.

We stayed 4 nights and found the hotel clean and good service. The ownership has just changed in April to being completely owned by the local First Nations and they're still working out a few kinks. If we had to call down to the front desk because something was missing they were very quick to get us the items. We... More
