very fresh and generous portions, this place is just great, and if it's nice enough to sit in the garden under the trees, one would be hard pressed to find a nicer lunch spot anywhere.

I just located to the Slocan Valley and was recommended the Apple Tree. I stopped and had the soup sandwich special. It was a complete home run to say the least. Had ridden through the valley numerous times but never stopped. I know that will...not be the case again. Very small and quiet location with great food and staff.More

Service was good. Staff was friendly and careful on dealing with social distancing and Covid procedures. Sandwiches all good but not great. Enjoyed our lunch but not spectacular

A little bit on the slow side of getting our order ready but when it arrived, our meal was excellent. We ate it sitting on picnic tables that were socially distanced and the staff all wore masks or face shields. Reasonably priced and in a...beautiful part of town close to the water.More

My wife and I stopped for lunch here we had sandwiches which were really tasty. They ran out of avocado which was disappointing. The Cobbler was really good with real cranberries. It closed early so we’re we’re lucky to get in.

I eat breakfast here a lot and always have the breakfast bagel, but I spice it up with Ebesse Zozo hot sauce to give it that zing. the garden is beautiful, the kitchen staff are great and friendly. That said, the owner is a cranky...old man, who has basically ignored me for the last 10 years. His wifi is awful. Today, I got on the router after about 6 tries, with the password "sesquipedalianism", and I stayed on for 8 minutes. A new record. When I complain, he deflects me with some excuse. The router is upstairs...... Now I know enough to use my cell phone's data plan. Don't let this blurb stop you from visiting here. The food is excellent, and who needs wifi. Better to actually talk to a real person.More

Stopped by here while seeing the sights of New Denver and so glad we did! The restaurant is located in a beautiful old building and the atmosphere both inside and out was lovely. Had a couple of sandwiches and they were both so, SO delicious....The staff were very friendly and efficient and we will definitely stop here again when in New Denver.More
