Booked a table here in advance , due to our hotel location, so that we could be sure of getting dinner after spending the whole Sunday at the Italian GP without wandering around the whole city. Everywhere was busy as expected. The friendly waitress remembered our reservation. We had a nice table on the covered patio. Nice selection on menu.... More

Food is ok, even if a bit overpriced. Having to wait 50 minutes for a cotoletta at a non-crowded lunch-time is a bit excessive, though.

Quaint little restaurant that is just down the road from Hotel de la Ville (see my other review). the concierge at our hotel made a reservation for us but it didn't seem like we really needed one. The staff was friendly and spoke a little English which was helpful for us since it was our first night in Italy and... More

I have been going to Gigi since I've been a kid and this place reminds me of a different Italy one that had its heyday in the 80s and since then has stumbled and not found its feet since. Running parallels between a country in disarray and Gigi is a bit harsh but in fairness the place is frozen in... More

Hopped over on the recommendation of my local business colleague on my own. A bit awkward as the owner (an older gentleman) did not speak English and neither did I speak Italian. Got the order right and the appetizer was quick. Main dish of tenderloin filet in mushrooms was very good and cooked just perfectly. Main dish did arrive a... More

We've been there two days in a row. We tried the antipasti (prosciuto with bufalla was great), for primo we had paccheri (kind of pasta) with shrimps (very good) and gnocchi castagnie with gorgonzola souce (great). The fish and meat was more than good. The next day we tried the pizza and we loved it. the owner was with us... More
