Recently came here for a meal whilst on vacation in Polignano and the whole experience was both exciting and tasty. After eagerly waiting outside the restaurant we were lead down some slate stairs to a view that can only be described by viewing it. The tables sat in a cave which were lit up beautifully with dim lights scattered all... More

Obviously the view was spectacular but the overall experience was poor. We felt like a number rather than a welcomed guest. The staff made us feel rushed (literally pulling a plate from under us before we were even finished eating their blended fish gruel, accompanied by cold stale bread bits). It cost €20 just to step foot in the place,... More

This is really a unique location ... they know it ... you pay for it. That said the food i quite good especially the deserts. The main courses we had were a bit bland while especially one of the deserts was spiced ... strawberry soup with smoked salt ... it and the other deserts we tried were very good!

This really is a postcard view! We had the 6 course tasting platter which was fantastic and the fresh fish and sea food was incredible. Although pricier than most, you definitely have an experience you will never forget.

I went there in mid Aug with my beloved friend . We sat in the cave , watching the sunset with the nice sea breeze, what an romantic experience!?!?! Other than the view , the staffs are very polite and helpful, we ordered my favourite red "Amarone " and the waiter got my taste , he recommended me the top... More

Fabulous restaurant tucked away in Polignano a Mare a small town not far from Monopoli where we stayed overnight. It's in a cave but to get to the restaurant one has to go through the narrow streets of the town and there's not many signs to find it. We did ask locals for help. It's paid meter parking outside in... More

Very very tasty food. Dont know how they made it, but it is the best so far I have eaten. Because it is last August, more than half a year passed, but I can be sure, the only restaurant that impressed me more than Chinese food, is this one, and it left me the good impressure that Pugliese in Italy... Imagine yourself inside a carved out limestone restaurant with the Adriatic Sea tide hitting the rocks below. It's a fantasy restaurant with delicious food and the most accommodating, helpful and wonderful staff. I feel like a very lucky person to have experienced this unique gem. The hotel was booked, so I wasn't able to stay there, but, even though it... More

We booked this restaurant nine months in advance. Set in a cave watching the sunset of the ocean, what more could you want. We were sat two tables back from the ocean and next to the waiters serving trolley. Very unset I asked to move and the waiter was very rude. I spoke to another person in the restaurant that... More
