Saw this when we pulled up to the caves, looked it up on the net and wanted to eat here, we went for a meal on Monday evening (27/02) and was really, really impressed!!! The interior was surprisingly modern but not overly intrusive, there was a fire in the grate which was welcoming and the welcome as we entered was... More

Went here for a meal on New Years Day and was certainly not disappointed. The interior was quite airy and modern, yet surprisingly compliments the traditional style of the building. The staff were also friendly enough during our meal. I went for the Wook burger for main course, which was absolutely delicious and without doubt one of the best burgers... More

We came here to have a meal and drink after a visit to the caves on a really cold -3 degrees rising to 3 degrees day! The pub doesn't open until 12 and we arrived at 11.30am but the door was open and we were welcomed in to sit by the real fire and have a coffee. The coffee was... More

Went for Sunday lunch and think this was one of the best Sunday lunches I have ever had! Three huge slices of thick tender beef, cauliflower in a cheese sauce, Yorkshire pudding, roast spuds and a plate full of veg! Excellent service too! Highly recommended.

Lovely little pub just across the road from where we were staying. Lovely atmosphere, we just popped in for a drink but the food smelt lovely. Staff very friendly had a little banter with some locals. Would recommend a visit.

Stayed in Wookey Hole for New Years with friends, and after a slightly boozy New Year's Day, needed somewhere to cure our sore heads the next day. The Wookey Hole inn was only down the road and after walking in without booking on the bank holiday lunchtime, the staff were able to seat all five of us and dog despite... More

We went for the steak option, very good quality steak. Would have preferred it all to have been served hotter (ie: hot plates would have improved the experience). Wine by the glass, sauvignon blanc, excellent. Pudding, exceptional. It had everything you could want. Decadent! Similar menu for evening, but twice the price - why!!!! Would not have paid double the... More

Absolutely blown away by the service the staff and the quality of the meals all cooked on site . I had the wild boar 1st time I have had it really pleased with the meal and the presentation looked and was really appetising .
