We visited for lunch and managed to enjoy the serenity overlooking the lake/vines being the only diners there at the time. We arrived quite late in the day, so we rang ahead, and whilst we were made aware over the phone it was close to kitchen closing time, we were greeted with a friendly smile & their nicest table set... We had lunch at Mason Wines today and although they seemed I be struggling with the 'crowd' on New Year's Day, the food was excellent and the wines we ended up purchasing. They had a great range of gluten free options including rice paper spring rolls and calamari rings which were perfect for a nye hangover ☺️

Arrived for desert and wine tasting. Only people there on a Saturday afternoon. Sticky date pudding was delicious. I dint feel the lady actually knew much about the wine though.

The outlook from this cafe really makes the place. We have enjoyed Mason Wines before and their selection Is a good price compared to other local wineries. Lunch wasn't as exciting as in the past unfortunately but was still pleasant for the price. Overall a relaxed and enjoyable Lunch stop.

Called into this cafe whilst travelling south for a quick bite. The service was excellent and quick. The food was flavoursome and fresh. Looking over the lake was most pleasant. I look forward to calling again. It was a most pleasant experience.

We had lunch there as part of a wine tour. The food was great, the service was good, but their wines are only average.

We visited Mason Wines as part of a wine tour. We did both a tasting and lunch at Masons Wines. The lunch was very tasty - most people seemed to think similarly. However the tasting was rather disappointing - the host was a lovely guy but did not seem to have any knowledge of the wines, and the wines themselves... More

My partner and I visited as part of a wine tour over the weekend. Bad service, nothing nice about the wine, less than average food. I was even insulted by the manager Wayne!

We were looking for a nice place for lunch in Ballandean and there were not a lot of options, so on a recommendation of an "open" place we went to Mason Winery ( despite some previous negative comments we had seen on TripAdvisor. Yes, the waitress was a little less that wot you may expect in the customer service department,... More
