Drinks and cakes weren’t that great. My order took almost 2 hours to get. We finished our drinks and didn’t even get the cakes served( though, they were ready in the shelf). I didn’t understand why it took that long. Staff weren’t care at all....They were taking their chill time. The view wasn’t even that great. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to come. It wasn’t worth my time driving all the way here. I wouldn’t come back here again.More

This place seems to have 2 names to it. One is that which Thais refer to, Baan Nok Kok Na. But on Google and other sites, you may come across it as The Country Khao Yai. On the northern fringes of Khao Yai, on the...low lands, this is definitely one interesting place to stay. Each lodge is unusual in design, each different from the other. They range from small units which can take in a small family of 3, which is actually more fitting for couples, to the larger multi story units which can accommodate larger groups. Raised wooden walkway over mini patches of crops lead you to your unit. And every stretch is a photographic opportunity that is a blend of rural greenery with the modernistic boldness of the unique lodges. In the center of the compound, an expanse of a garden filled with cabbage patches that opens up into the wide blue sky above. I was there in January, the season was cool. It was awesome just strolling the grounds early morning in the heavy air. But when the sun rose and the day progressed, it got rather searing hot. That was the characteristics of the winter to summer transition in Thailand. The resort ground where we were is cordoned off and separated by what looks like a moat. We needed to go across it over a shaky suspension bridge. They can easily up the level of security and privacy by having crocs in the water to prevent unauthorized access. Across that small creek of a moat is the public area which housed a heavily bambooed café. Plenty of guest came during opening hours for coffee and to wander the gardens. The long house which hosted the reception counter, is where breakfast was served. It was covered but open-air. We enjoyed breakfast and the morning freshness that came along. Food was decent. Staying here is all about taking a step back and regressing down into total relaxation, an absolute retreat. It will be great to come as couples, or with a small group of friends. With kids, well, although within the compound there is a wooden merry-go-round and a see saw, plus the place is huge for kids to expend their energy, this place is really about the tranquility.More

If you are a traveller who is passionate in local and Thai country life, here is the place u can enjoy. The Conutry Kaoyai is open for both cafe and bed and breakfast service in Farm Stay style. The owner was inspired by the notion...of Self-sufficient economy introduced by Thai King Rama9. The cafe itself offera various type of coffee, tea and deserts while the accomodation session has 8 guestrooms, with 8 unique design. No wifi and no TV. In accomotation area, you will be surrounded by vegetables, etc. cros, green oak, red basil, lemon grass and rice grown organically. Besides, there is a natural canal which you also can row along the canal. Highly recommended.More
