Didn't make it to dinner. Very expensive. Ordered Singha no have. then ordered Budweiser. Only one bottle have. Want to bring own wine as all wine 1500 up. Corkage fee 500...? Dinner menu pretty expensive. After dilemma with drinks order. We canceled food order and...ran away. Sorry for staff but stupid manager/owner. Food was overpriced, but well presented and good taste. The setting is beautiful with outdoor seating. It would be good if the volume from the band was lowered. We expected a nice meal with good conversation between friends. But the band seemed to think it...was a concert, not a dining experience. Much too loud.More
Another great dinner at Ribs Mann last night. It is a true joy to look thru their diverse menu and pick something fun and always delicious. For appetizers we had the Caesar salad, the tomato bruschetta and a wonderful Palma ham/fig jam bruschetta. All were...amazingly good. Dinner was Khao Khluk Kapi for me, and I will say, it is the best serving of this dish I have ever eaten. The rice is perfectly seasoned, the mango fresh and wonderfully sweet and sour, the sweet pork delightful and all other ingredients could not match together better. It is a wonderful experience in the best of Thai food. My friend has Khao Soi and it was also very impressive. A great presentation of ingredients and a very healthy portion. As with everything at Ribs Mann, it was delicious. We were too full for desert, but that menu is impressive as well.More
I noticed quite a few places in Thailand serve small portions - NOT HERE! Be careful that you don’t over order. The food was pretty good but I’m not sure it lived up to all the travel blog hype I read online. The size of...the restaurant is impressive and there is a cool Koi pond. As English speakers, the restaurant staff were extremely accomodating to us. Strangely I would recommend the salad. As this is a meat place, they are fairly meaty. We had the soft shell crab salad and it was good. The ribs and salmon aburi were also worth trying. I’d maybe suggest passing on the sausage and duck. While they were good, they were probably the dishes we liked least. It’s good and worth a visit but maybe don’t plan around visiting this restaurant as some travel blogs would suggest.More
Went here with family and friends. Overall seating was okay however the food was average, despite the insanely high prices for any dish. Minimum price for a dish is around 400baht. They charge an upwards of 500 for a pizza and any beef is extremely...overpriced. In my opinion come here if you are okay to spend a few thousand baht on an okay meal. Definitely better choices in the same area.More
The restaurant is a real must for us each time we visit Khao Yai. The ribs are superb, the cakes divine. The setting is lovely and the staff are efficient and pleasant. Maybe not the cheapest place but such good quality it is worth an...occassional treat.More
Went as a couple and had the soups to start, both of these were pretty good though very small portions. The accompanying bread basket was ok but nothing special. For the main course we tried the meat platter showcasing several of the restaurant's cuts. Of...these we found none were better than average. The duck was probably the best, and the ribs that are supposedly noteworthy were not at all. The sausage selection was pretty poor, none were decently tasty and all were pallid and barely browned, so looked quite unappetising. The platter was 1,999 THB so we definitely expected better. What it seemed we got was just cuts of meat all grilled the same way, no flair, no imagination, no real flavour. The restauant itself is a nice place and had some good live music, and the service was fine. However, given the many other restauants in the area Ribs Mannn is unlikely to attract us back expecially at their prices.More
Three co-workers and I stopped here on our drive from Korat back to the airport. It came highly recommended, but collectively all of us it was average at best. We ate family style with a mix of chicken, pork, and beef. Presentation was overall pretty...good, but the taste was marginal.More
Love the Original ribs, grilled pork and ribsmann trio mocktail. It is an upscale restaurants in Khao Yai with a pricier menu for great food and ambience. However the service level experience was a little disappointing with a handful of waiters/waitress unable to communicate in...basic English and seems reluctant to serve our table. The restaurant should provide basic English training to staff and encourage them to speak. The least, staff should be able to recommend their menu and take orders in english.More
Order the smoked items for sure, you won't regret it. The signature smoked ribs, was quite simply,. sinful, smoky, tender and fragrant with crisp bouncy fat and unforgettable flavour. To be honest i wasnt expecting much actually, and wow, was I blown away! Even the...carbonara (not a real carbonara, but still a very good creamy pasta) was real good, I slurped it up. The restaurant has a nice feel... lots of staff... However not so attentive.... We had 3 meals between us including a pasta dish for our daughter .. my wife had beef massaman which they said on menu was wagyu.. but as a chef I personally...don't think it was... I had what was described as Italian pork porchetta... It was the furthest away from what it says... A deep fried piece of pork belly with no herbs and next to no seasoning... Our daughters meal was nice tho... pasta carbonara but made with cream and a coddled egg placed on top.... I guess if your Thai and haven't travelled much then you can be fooled into paying for food described this way but for the price and the quality... I would suggest go somewhere else..More
the restaurant serves nice and generous portion of food, price is reasonable. Good scenic. view, live music at night. services is okay but might need to be better organised, appetiser was served after the main dishes, etc. staff is attentive but should have more knowledge...of their menus. This is the place to go if you want some smoked meats and good western fare. The restaurant is a stand alone establishment - like what you'll see Stateside. One reminder though, the prices are pretty steep (comparable to Bangkok's fine dinning) but being in...Korat for the holidays - why not?More
I and my partner has arrived at 8.30 pm we immediately ordered food. The food was look good fast service and good taste but the price was really too expensive objousky it’s even higher price than UK. Had dinner here twice during our 3 nights stay at Khao Yao. Good food, nice ambience, good service. lots of parking space. Live band in attendance. Expect to pay more than other restaurants. As a guide, our dinner + a bottle of wine for 6...persons cost B7500.More
