We will be there for a dinner beginning of the year as well and we are looking forward to the dinner. I just can say yummi... More

Originally had planned to eat maybe 1-2 times in and explore the neighborhood on others... did not leave! The set menus at the hotel restaurant and the a la carte restaurant (Gasthof) were both just amazing, great choices and food quality & a nice bar to round out the evening.. why leave ? ;-)

Stanglwirt is an amazing place with an endless array of facilities & a choice of restaurants. The whole operation is upmarket & slick. We've eaten previously in the cosy, quirky Cowshed where you overlook cows in a stall but this room is closed in summer & the cows put out to graze so on this visit we dined in the... More

The ambiance at this resort is unlike anywhere else in the world. All the wood finishes, the traditional Austrian uniforms of the staff, the way the hotel is built and the magnificent views of the Wilder Kaiser mountains make this place so unique. Everything is top notch, but it is surprisingly very good value compared to other similarly rated hotels... More

The Rustic Inn is the a la carts option at the Stanglwirt, interestingly you dine in full view of a herd of dairy cows. My wife found this a bit disconcerting and decided to go vegetarian for the night. I wasn't concerned and enjoyed the local cuisine and wines from the well balanced wine list,

I stayed here for a few days for business reasons. The service is impeccable, luxury all over in a fantastic and charming mountain chalet. it is completed by a number of amenities, such as a sauna and a swimming pool, and a classy restaurant with a great wine list
