We visited Bergfried Alm a couple of times during our skiing vacation. First time to drink some beer, hang out and compete with their famous hollow-hammer game. This is a very traditional Austrian restaurant with good hearty food. Prices are good and service is excellent. Some nights have live music and get busy. Best to book ahead as it’s very popular.

I had dinner with my friends, the food is specifically Austrian. Nothing spectacular but very interesting restaurant arranged.

We ate here with our 2 children of 3 and 4. Very nice cosy place with lots to see in a real Austrian setting. Romantic, with a lot of wood. The children were provided with coloring pages and colors. The service was great, very friendly...and with an eye for the children! Every meal we had, Carpaccio, Tiroler Grostl, Kaiserschmarrn, Zwiebelrostbraten and the Bananensplit was very good! The dishes are made with love and are very tasty. I loved the Bananensplit, it comes with delicious hot chocolate sauce! In a word: a must see and eat in Tux!!!More

1. We ordered a 1L bottle of water from the menu for 3 Euro. Waiter said "yes yes" and came back with a different bottle of 750ml for 5.7 Euro! (the water Jesus walked on?). We turned his attention that it's not what we ordered...and he said "that's all I have". We showed him the menu again and he said "yes yes" and came back with an unidentified kitchen bottle of (probably tap) water, for which he charged us 3 Euro (as if it was what we ordered). 2. We tried to enjoy our meal although the annoying steal above, only to have to listen to two completely different music playlists from two different sources located in either side of us. 3.Food itself was too salty.More

Nice place , but kitchen is disaster. Spare ribs were the total disaster. The worst spare ribs i ever had.

A week vacation in hintertux-lanersbach Tirol... Not sure of the exact name but the food in this place is delicious. We invited a couple of friends to this restaurant and they absolutely loved it. Will come back again for sure

I have been here for the second year: my only cons is the taste of tyroler grostl - it was better last year. Everything else was according to my expectations: food, atmosphere, big smile coming from the ladies and a great desert. I will come...back, for sure.More

We were a small group of extended family who were in Lanersbach for a few days skiing. We came to the bar for apres and ended up returning later that evening after dinner because the atmosphere was so good. We came back two nights later...aswell! We were well looked after by the staff, Anita and Manuel were hospitable, attentive and great fun. We had a hilariously, drink filled few nights and would recommend it to anyone.More
