Extremely big restaurant half way to the top of the gletsjer (second lift). Has a service area but also a large selfservice area. Prices are Eberhard as is the quality of the dishes. Nothing special but that’s to be expected. Nice view though

Best place to stop for a beer, a snack, or just a break during a ski day. Everything is handy, people so nice (Panorama Bar!!!! - lovely people!), enough place for so many skiers

The place offers 3 different levels of service. "bring your lunch pack", "buffet" and normal serviced restaurant. We took a prime place at the window...overlooking the slope were skiers and snowboarders come down. We enjoyed great servive, some nice prosecco with a "Jausenplatte", which is...a cheese, ham, bread,... in between snack. If you want it perfectly coosy try to get a place around the fire placeMore

My wife and I were in HIntertux for some summer skiing and high altitude hiking in Aug 2018. We came to the Tuxer Ferner Haus before, but avoided the service restaurant and used the self service. What a mistake! The service in the restaurant is...friendly, food is very good and the bill/check is friendly. We had lunch there several times : very satisfied every time. We had the Goulash Suppe, Brusschetta with smoked salmon (Wow!), the salads were delicious, Germknödel was yummy. If they serve Palatschinken, go for them! And our bill was always around 35-40 euros, drinks included, which was very reasonable. We as non-smokers had to avoid the terrace or the smoker tables, but all-in-all we loved lunching there. All this, combined with the magnificent view over the bottom of the Gletscher makes for a great experience. We'll be back!More

It's by the main gondola, what did you expect?? But - the food is really good quality, it is nice surroundings and clean/modern. It has a nice busy atmosphere. Given that you don't have much choice - I'll eat here again next time on glacier.

We were hungry after visiting of the Glacier so we decided to have a late lunch in self serving part of this restaurant. Service was quick, meal was average - no exceptional no bad.

This restaurant is like any other Mittelstation. They have kind a like the same traditionel food. Nothing extra. There was a restaurant beside and it did look a little more nice, but it was cloosed. We ate here at Tuxer Ferner Haus every day. -...SimonMore

We've been going to to Tux for years and I've only just got round to writing a review of Tuxerferner Haus. As others have commented there are two parts to the complex, self service and at-table service restaurant. We've have used both and they give...you excellent choice: for the few Euros a head extra we now go for the at-table. Compared with other mountain restaurants, the Haus is way ahead on the quality of the food, the quantity and the price. The menu's reasonable varied. We pay typically pay 20 Euros - with drinks - per head. Service is always fast and friendly and if they are full it'll be about a 20 minutes wait for a table at the bar. You can eat inside or out: we prefer inside: very plush. I'd highly recommend the Haus: think about going early or late to cut down the time for waiting for a table: or reserve one.More

Very nice restaurant with service. You can also have a drink near the fireplace which is very cosy. If it is busy, you better make a reservation. We had the caesar salad with garlic breath. Very good ! We also had the pasta with scampi...which is very nice but rather creamyMore

Although meals are okay, your entire senses may be negatively affected by people, both personnel (trying to "manage" queue, for example, redirecting people who would not like first course dishes, around queue, without any care for queue merging later) and visitors (who tend to "reserve"...places in advance or sit that way, which clearly shows that they are against sharing some table space despite the restaurant is kinda overcrowded.More
