We were here on busy Sunday afternoon with our Luxembourgish friends. Restaurant was very crowded and we had to wait some 15 minutes to get a table. Probably it was too busy day. Scampi tagliatelli was really good, but pizza had been too short time on oven, some parts of cheese were not melted and it was not at all... More

Really good fresh Italian. Despite the language barrier, the service was fast, friendly and attentive. The food was delicious and the bread was very good. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

We are not big eater, so we skipped first dish. My wife had fillet of sole (which had some bones( but was very good, with butter lemon-gravy on the side. I had Osso Buko. Very tasty. The last dish was an assortment of ice creams and fresh fruits. Decadence. The waiters did not speak a word of English. We were... More

We go to Ciney twice a year on business and always spend a night eating at the San Marino. Usually it is great but the last time was terrible. The food was overcooked. It took an hour between courses and when we complained, the way it was dealt with was attrocious and we were called liars. There was no offer... More

What a surprise! We were with Belgian family who told us we must eat here at least once. Wish we had tried it earlier. This was one of those local places in southern Belgium where you may have to wait on line, but do it. You will have one of the best meals and dining experiences in Europe. Not fancy,... More

If you go to the San marino, you should know it is a place attended by farmers and Big eaters. You can easily feed two people with only one starter and one main dish! The veal scallops - with spinach, parme, tomato or/and mozzarella - are huge and tasty. Good value but only if you are very hungry or not... More

Really enjoyed the meal in this restaurant. We had to wait for 10 minutes for a table because we didn't book, but it was worth the wait. The food was excellent, and not too pricey, the service was swift and the restaurant was very clean. 3 Euros for a very small beer was a bit steep though!
