We went here on the recommendation of our landlady. Three of us ordered savory crepes while one of us ordered the special -- a veal dish. The crepes were open face (rather than rolled). All of us thought they were delicious. Dessert crepes were wonderful -- definitely did not disappoint. Restaurant is small and cozy. The owners opened the French... More

The location is very exclusive, close to the castle of Lourmarin. Cozy atmosphere created with typical Provençal design and candles on each table. The service was efficient and quick. The food good. Prices not more nor less than expected.

As an American living in France, we don't usually get beef like in the US. The côté de bœuf here stacks up with any steakhouse stateside. The sides and desserts are equally well prepared. Great value for the money, hard to spend more than à Ben Franklin per couple including wine and apéritif. We have eaten here twice with our... More

Everything was Ok, but nothing noteworthy. We gathered from the menu that crepes were the specialty of the restaurant, so we ordered the ham and mushrooms one. It was fine, but no better than you'd get from any creperie in france. Staff were polite and professional.

We have been coming here for years, and it never disappoints. The limited menu, primarily steak or crepes, suits our family and has been the site of many large friends/family celebrations. The ambience is perfect, friendly and attentive but not stuffy or pompous. Prices are fair and the two main rooms are charming.

We are spending our tenth year in Lourmarin. We come for six weeks every spring. Although there are many restaurants in town, we always lamented their quality. This year we decided to revisit some of them to see if anything has changed. We stopped into La Louche du Beurre last night since it has been at least five years since... More

Have eaten here a couple of times. The faux fillet is always tender and done to perfection. A friend gets the salmon tartare, and I'm here to tell you it's the best I've had in Provence. Fabulous! And the restaurant is cozy on a cold, rainy night.

Bistro atmosphere - have been coming here for over 20 yrs - never disappoints. Bistro atmosphere, charming staff, easy menu and fab frites. Just could do better on their side salad. Local wine list good.

A delightful "bistro" style atmosphere...warm and inviting with wonderful food. We had delicious steaks prepared perfectly and accompanied by a great bottle of red wine. We found the other diners to be friendly and equally as pleased with the "little bistro". The location is most convenient and easy to walk to if you are staying in Lourmarin, which we were.

We have been here many times, and it is always nice to come back. The staff is very friendly, it is almost like "coming home". We are a family of three, and we chose to share (partager) a "assiette San Daniele" ham , and it was tender and it tasted wonderful with tasty butter, fresh bread and cornichons. Afterwards we...
