Amazing environment with soul (a bit harder to find but turn close to the big rock and you will find it), friendly and caring service, amazing tasty food (and a lot of it) prepared for me in gluten-free version with proactivity and care seen very rarely. Go and see for yourself, fully recommended!!

Finding the restaurant is a bit tricky ...at the bottom of the lane there is a sign that points you toward the restaurant, walk up the lane, past the old truck, keep going, past the wooden shed...don't give up because if you do you'll miss the best meal in the region and a great travel memory! The food is local... More

Great food served by wonderful people. Very memorable. It's easy to walk/drive right by and not see it so be sure to know where you are going if it's dark. The beef consume was out of this world along with the family recipes of this restaurant.

Great meal for a fair price. The restaurant is small and cozy with a nice bavarian style interior. The staff is very friendly and extremely helpful. The view from the windows on the surrounding mountains is beautiful.

It's Bavaria. You can see the mountains from the sunny terasse. They gave us a blanket against the chilly wind, but in the sun it's super nice and cozy. And then.. The food. Absolutely awesome. The cracklin on my pork was nothing short of amazing. And the wild board sausage on alow cooked cabbage gave me a most christmas like... More

I visited with my father who is quit frail and had a walker. The daughter was quite nice and helped me get him up a few stairs. It was very good. A little to spendy for us, but we haven't eaten out much on this trip. I was $64 for to steak dinners two drinks and two desserts. I was... More

My fiancée and I visited this restaurant on 18th June on our motortrike tour of Europe (a lot of it anyway). We had booked it by email as we were impressed by the reviews we had read on the www. It was amazing walking up the hilly avenue. Inside we were met by Angelika and Roland the owners and chefs.... More

when you walk up the gravel road to the restaurant, you might wonder if it even exists. If it were in the U.S., you might expect to hear banjos playing (I.e. In a scary way), but then you walk into this homey, welcoming environment with primarily locals - always a good sign. The menu varies by day, and is posted... More
