This is a hidden gem just off the Piazza della Libertà, soundly beats anything you'll find there. The food is delicious, extremely well done with local ingredients (the olive oil is a production of the owners' family!) and the service is excellent. The owner is particularly happy to strike a conversation, so don't hesitate! If you pass by Ostuni, you... More

Our welcome was warm and friendly. We ordered the artichokes, orecchiette, local sausages and vegetables- all were delicious - each course served on different colourful plates. We enjoyed the atmosphere and cosily appointed room.

Friends had recommended this restaurant. Fabrizio, the owner, has a cousin in NYC who owns a restaurants we will try. He and his wife shared cooking and serving. The artichokes with shaved black truffles were outstanding as was the orechiette with a puree of olives, anchovies, capers and bread crumbs. Finally, the freshly grilled fish was perfect. Subtle and simple.... More

We had an excellent dinner in this wonderful ancient and historic space. Fabrizio the chef visited our table and delivered our pastas ensuring we were pleased with the presentation as well as the taste. We felt our pasta was one of the best we had in Italy on this 2 week trip - as it was an outstanding example of... More

We go back to Caffe Cavour every time we visit Ostuni. It is consistently good. Fabrizio is a wonderful chef and takes pride in each dish that comes out of the kitchen. The artichokes with truffles is a must!

Another of the buildings in the old town that leads you back into a cave. Attractive and bustling. A very good dinner - pasta and fish and delicious wine.

We ate here twice. The restaurant is located in an ancient (as the waitress tells us) 1100 year old room which was used for centuries to produce olive oil for lamps. The lamb was excellent, so was the seared tuna! Really special in this restaurant is the service : Alexandra does an excellent job for food and wine recommendations as... More
