Of all the places in the district we called into over the weekend this was the least welcoming. The attached shop was just as bad. Luckily the girl at the store next door showed some hospitality so that's where we spent our money

Disappointed only cabinet food which was pretty good. The toilets were not clean,so hoping this not a reflection on the kitchen hygiene

Grabbed a coffee to go. Good coffee and service was average. Pleasant seating area. Nice welcoming spot on the way to Alexandra.

Thought we would drive up for a late lunch. Opted for the torpedo toasted roll and a cheese roll. Looked up for a blackboard menu but they don't do that under new ownership. Lemon cheese cake and mocha to follow. Hours are only till 3pm now which I think is a bit early considering it still peak tourist time. Good... More

Take your time and enjoy the food, the drinks. Great for lunch or afternoon snack. The food is great and the view. Nice terraces in the shade and in the sun.

While we were enjoying a coffee, we overheard a young tourist couple with a baby travelling on bikes ask politely if they could charge their cell phone as they really needed to. The staff member abruptly said no without offering any explanation. This is no way to threat customers especially overseas visitors and gave a very bad impression.

After a round of golf at Tarras, we stopped in for lunch at around 2.30pm. The cafe still had a range of cabinet food on offer which looked quite appealing. Unfortunately the service was very poor. We were not welcomed or even spoken to during the ordering of our food and beverages. The girl on the till stood and looked... More

This used to be our favorite spot to stop for lunch on our way to Queenstown. The food was always fantastic, and the service great. To our horror this does not seem to be the case today. Their was no menu, only things from the cabinet, that were average. The table was sticky and gross, the bathroom facilities even worse.... More

I stopped at the Cafe on my way through to Queenstown with my wife and two boys and enjoyed some of the best food I've had whilst travelling Otago and Southland visiting family. Don't hesitate to stop, especially on a sunny day it doesn't get any better!

We were delighted there was food at half 3. Us ladies were bantering the men say see there's plenty of food... as they were concerned there was not going to be enough food. The food was delicious. The service was terrible. We were not greeted by the lady at the till. She did not say one word while we ordered.... More
