Easy to over order as the pizzas are pretty big and “small” is actually good for two unless you are starving. Henry does a great pizza, freshly baked to order with generous toppings. Delicious.

We have been to Henrys before and have always enjoyed the pizza and a glass of wine. This time we ordered our usual pizza and wine only to find out when paying the bill that a glass of wine has gone up in price by...66% since last season. We can appreciate that costs do increase from time to time, however this increase was over the top. Not planning on ordering wine at Henrys anytime in the future.More

Both at the restaurant and delivery, Henry doesn't fail to please. The pizza both times was cooked just right and the ingredients were quality. If you like your pizza well done, ask for it with some extra oven time.

Wow, who would ever think you'd end up finding the best pizza in the world in Tambor, Costa Rica. We loved this place so much we went back again and again. The pizza is amazing. PIzza Express has been one of the few successful restaurants in the Tambor area. His clients are tourists, local expats and ticos. Everyone raves about the pizza and it is ALWAYS fresh, on time, tastes great consistently. It is a great value. Pizza Express has...recently started service Pork ribs with plenty of nicely seasoned boiled potatoes and a small green salad. 1 portion was plenty to feed a very hungry man. The BBQ ribs are not destroyed with lots of sweet/ ketchup type sauce. Just honestly smoked and then grilled. Delightful!More

We had 2 large pizzas delivered this evening. They were great fast and very reasonable. We had 1 pepperoni and 1 pepperoni/onion/mushroom. Both were awesome!! Gracious!!!!

henry does it up right! he started making/delivering pizzas outta a shack by himself and now runs this lil restaurant right on the beach. awesome place to grab a bite if you are in tambor.

If you're looking for a great pizza, Henry's is the place. Thin crust pizza, good variety of toppings, that makes it very tasty for a reasonable price. We ended up here because the other pizza place was closed. Glad we did. They were busy with people dining in but also do a huge delivery business. Someone was speeding off with pizzas every few minutes. He advertises a lot around the area and...it's obvious he is working hard to be successful. Nice to see. The pizza was good and portions are big. Two of us ordered a large and had plenty left for lunch the next day. The prices are reasonable for the portion and flavor is good. I prefer a bit more spices but over all, it was quite good. I'd go back.More

I have ate at this restaurant twice and the pizza and pasta was excellent. It's owner operated and he is very friendly and always trying to pleased his customers. The restaurant is on the beach, but be warned that its an typical Tico run restaurant...that has just the basics. So if you are looking for an American/Canadian style restaurant this will not be it, but my family and friends all love there food and the atmosphere and will continue to buy thre pizza in the future.More

Ok these guys focus on the basics and do Pizza right. I had pepperoni pizzas on two occasions they arrived HOT. The second time I did not notice I overpaid by $20, thinking I had the tip counted out. The driver noticed later and came...back to the hotel the next day to find me and give the money back (he got to keep the $20). Amazing examples of people. These guys deliver rain or shine. I mean wearing a wet weather riding suit and arriving at your door on a moped covered in mud with hot pizza.More
