As I saw in another review we were staying in the hotel right by the restaurant and decided to walk over. We ordered a wood fire pizza a bottle of wine talked about the drive here and tried to figure out if this was a...knife and fork or pick it up with your hands pizza. The pizza was very good, we don't usually have wood fired at home and we liked the crisp thin crust. The staff were friendly, patient with us and our limited French making it a nice end to a travel day.More

Great food, good atmosphere. That Saturday night late September we were the only non locals and really enjoyed the Carte. They were also very friendly to our dogs. If you're in Aubage area do not hesitate!

Just around the corner of the hotel we stayed in. The ambiance is local, covered terraces, a smoking wood furnace for Pizza's 3 friendly people serving, all tables occupied and people entering the restaurant even at 10.30. The dishes we had were fresh, the seafood...risotto was tasty and covered with clams. Maybe a bit too cheesy. The pizza's we had were tasty, especially the Napolitana. The Burrata with a selection of tomatoes was good. The polpo salad was a bit disappointing, no noticeable coriander. All in all a nice simple restaurant with fresh food. Good balance between price and quality.More

___ Disappointment, 24 euros dish microwaved The beef fillet with "home made" chips, one of the most expensive of the menu, arrived cold. We appreciate that this kind of things can happen sometimes, so we asked if it's possible to heat it. The dish came back clearly shrunk (half the chips left and a smaller bit of meat), and still cold... We let the waiter know. But when the dish came back for the third time, we couldn't believe it; it had been shoved in a microwaved, thus left the food in a disgusting soggy state. We wanted to introduce a dear foreign friend to French gastronomy, and he ended up his night eating - well after everyone else - a semi cold dish that had been microwaved, as he was not willing to make a fuss and incommode the rest of the group by refusing the dish and leaving the restaurant. I don't even talk about the slow (when not inexistent) service - the bread basket was nowhere to be seen (in France, they come free at the beginning of the meal), and worse, the jug of water would just not come even when asked. We ended up having to get it by ourselves. We were quite a big group of people and this is clearly not the treatment (nor the food) you could expect when the note comes up to three digits. Deeply disappointed and the feeling that we wasted a serious amount of money.More

We ate there last night and had 2 pizza and 2 meat dishes. The "agneau" was fat and not well grilled - the "entrecôte" overly full of tendons ... no reaction from the waiter upon raising it

We got a perfectly prepared dinner with nice wine. But as it happens so often in France, we had not been served in the best manner. It seems to be based mainly on poor language skills from both sides, but we have still hands, feet...and humour. I expect at least a try to make the menu somehow understandable. This did not happen.More

The food was great so we came back the day after. The staff was nice, but I just wish more of them spoke English. I liked the fish, the cheese and the desserts. Great spot!

2 menus on offer but all basically hold the same dishes! One staff member speaks English. Wine menu good and decent prices. Food can leave you with a sore stomach if you consume it more than three evenings. Pizza is the speciality there.

Food was good and they had quite a variety of options. Not sure if they speak or understand English so maybe some of the menu you mightn't understand. Found it good value for money and parking is not a problem. Seating is mostly in a...beautiful garden but beware of biting insects although they try to put citronella candles to keep them away.More

This restaurant is like a good pizzeria. Very popular with local people, not used to dealing with outsiders. Lots of mosquitos. You may want to spray first. Good choice for a casual dinner.
