It took us four hours to drive to this place but actually added to the experience and it's eventual climax. The minimal interior is beautifully designed taking full advantage of the countryside. The service of course was impeccable. Now on to the food. Nico truly understands food combination but it is his ability to orchestrate and conduct his locally sourced... More

Sublime Incomparable Ecstasy Genius The distilled essence of the greatest cuisine in the world based on the healthiest regional Italian cuisine: Abruzzo mountains cuisine This is why five stars exist folks, save them for a place like this not for the chain crap you see around tripadvisor S9that should be banned) Service: best I have ever seen best than the... This place is in the middle of nowhere and you may think it is not worth the drive..well you couldn't be more wrong. The scenery is very beautiful, the restaurant has a terrace overlooking the hill. At the sunset is stunning. The service is flawless but the food is the real gem. Somehow traditional and innovative, absolutely delicious beyond imagination... More

You might be discouraged by the fact that this restaurant is somehow off the beaten track. You shouldn't! It is worth the effort to reach it. The restaurant is absolutely beautiful in a low key and essential way. The food is highly innovative, but rooted in the tradition and the service absolutely flawless. This restaurant is a real gem and... More

Well, this is a bit of a weird one. Start with the location for instance: in the middle of nowhere in Abruzzo, almost certainly one of the least known regions in Italy. I think of it as the Wales of Italy, but with less rain and more rocks. Same amount of sheep though. It’s about one and a half hour... More

I was coming to here from Rome by car in 3 hours. It was so difficult to find this hotel restraint. But I confirm that I had to eat here when my returns way to hotel in Rome. I was enjoying all creative dishes in traditional country house. Wine selection was really good with all food.

There are rooms to stay above this restaurant which is housed in a restored convent. So we stayed 2 nights to give us time to enjoy the charming ambience plus indulge our love of fine food. First night we had a la carte and were served some very different and tasty amuse bouches to begin with. The second night we... More

This was the perfect dinner. Great service, extraordinary food and some local wines that was out of this world. The perfect ending after walking in the national park of Abruzzo.

Reale's location is stunning. Set in an old convent that has been lovingly restored, the restaurant is spacious, modern, and light. The view from the tables across the valley equally pretty. The greeting here was very friendly, but the service remained professional, without being very friendly, or warm. the five course menu (€100) started with a set of interesting, and... More

The restaurant is very far from all of more or less well-known touristic destinations in Italy. And we never considered it as a lunch or a dinner base during our numerous trips through Italy, even though we knew that it had 2 Michelin stars. However this year it got its third star and we at last decided to visit it... More
