We had a chef's choice menu of seafood, it was fantastic and very diverse. We really enjoyed the variety of tastes and the professional service and presentation. Bravo!

We went there little skeptical, as price is relatively high and the outside did not look so nice, However, we were sitting in the garden, completely off the tourist stream. Frutta di mare (warm) were excellent, as well the marinated Alici (ask the waiter for...More

We finished the dinner, and asked about the cost of a Limoncello for a desert (asked "quanta costa"). The waiter happily reported, no charge, on the house. So we ordered a limocello and a desert, and my wife also, ordered aLimoncello. When we received the bill,...More

Vincenzo and his team in the kitchen and Franco at the front of the house know what they are doing. Linguine ai frutti di mare were sublime, and my catch of the day - snapper (dentice) was fantastic.

A nice restaurant where the food was good, though not outstanding or I would have given it a 5/5. We had the day's special raw fish entrée which had panache but was not particularly flavourful. I had an excellent main with monkfish cooked to perfection,...More

Vecchio saracino is an absolute gem! The food is authentic Italian and the atmosphere is welcoming and beautiful. The fish is outstanding but there are also many other options which are equally as good. The owner makes the deserts by hand as well. When eating...More

We had a nice dinner at this place. Lovely garden area for dining. My friend and I both tried the sofritto tuna, which apparently is made with tuna heart; very good, and on a nice bed of pureed potato. I then had the veal steak,...More

At the end of two weeks in Italy surviving on pizza and pasta, we decided to treat ourselves at this restaurant based on its TripAdvisor reviews. We were not disappointed. The food was delicious and the service excellent and attentive (even when a very large...More

Description
The real home of the Mediterranean diet. Our Cilentan kitchen is closely linked to the Mediterranean diet, a typical nutritional model of the ancient Cilento. The first to notice the benefits of a diet based on the products of the Cilento, and also on his way of life, it was the American Dr. Ancel Keys, who reported in his book "Eat well and stay well, the Mediterranean way" the reasons why these foods, and the way of living, they might makes more long-lived the humans. The main characteristic of the Cilentan cooking is quick, simple and full of passion for tradition. The fresh and selected ingredients, such as fish, vegetables, herbs, grains, olive oil, cheese, wine and fruit together with the famous buffalo mozzarella in the land of Paestum, are, braids, the secret ingredients of the Mediterranean diet. The fresh fish that arrives daily in our kitchens, tuna, anchovies, sardines, amberjack, snapper, bream, gurnard fish, redfish, shrimp, cuttlefish, octopus rock, which is abundant in our seas, is the main product of our dishes.
