A very chic restaurant with a lively ambiance. The food was beautifully prepared, delicious and creative. The owners were present and welcomed each guest personally. Livia welcomed us and spent a lot of time explaining the menu and suggesting dishes we would enjoy (we had our two children with us). They were very generous and attentive, and at the end... More

It was wonderful from start to finish. Warm welcome, excellent service, charming sommelier, very accommodating with my dietary requirements, and every course was perfection on a plate. The dining room decor is quirky (pinks, lilacs and white) but it works. The big mirrors and great lighting makes it all come together. And the kitchen is beautiful - fully tiled and... More

I ordered tasting course of 170 Euro per person with my wife and that was actually perfect!. I loved the duck as second plate, not for main course the best, and the taste and outlooking of lemon tasted dessert was also nice. After the dinner, the restaurant took us the tour of wine cellar and impressed with the number of... More

First I have to mention that we eat out a lot and often in Michelin restaurants all over Europe and abroad. I compare Don Alfonso with these style of restaurants. Very modern (pink style) dining room, service is good but not as perfect as we are used to in a two star. We chose two different menu's, the traditional menu... More

I had to laugh when reading some of the less enthusiastic reviews. Of course if what you're looking for is a large amount of food for a small price (what is called "good value" is some parts of the world), Don Alfonso is not the place wou're looking for, just go to a pizzeria. More seriously, Don Alfonso largely lives... More

Fixed priced fancy restaurant that has great service and ok food. It has one of the most extensive wine list. It takes 3.5 hours of being serviced. It was a good meal but overpriced.

I met one of the waiters in the lavenderia (laundry) and we got chatting. I met the owner' sister at a couple of dinner parties. Nothing prepared me for the warmth, the love, the all enveloping sense of well being and belonging that I got here. The food and service are incredibly good. Very interesting, surprising, rewarding. The whole place... More

This is not your typical restaurant for satisfying hunger pains. Don't go just because you are hungry. This is a place you go to APPRECIATE the ART of exquisite food preparation and fine dining. Everything is lovingly prepared and served. The owner will visit you at your table to explain the sourcing of their ingredients and offer you tastes of... More

The serene town where it is located is a change from Sorrento. The pink hued dining room with flower prints on the chair backs, the elegant and attentive service. Food is good but modernistic. It's expensive so not really a family friendly place. You can ask to visit the subterranean wine cellers.

Everything was perfect . I contacted the restaurant by email and I asked if it was possible to do a little cake surprise for my boyfriend since it was his birthday. The weekend we spent in Naples- Sorrento and they were so nice and attended . the day my reservation was they introduced themselves and explained each dish . The... More
