I recently visited the Cedar Creek Estate in Mt. Tamborine, primarily to see the man-made glow worm caves. These caves were originally made to assist in the survival and research of glow worms because their natural habitats were seen to be declining due to man's perceived need for farming and housing. These caves are spectacular and worth every cent to... More

Spend a very enjoyable morning in the mountains - visited the Glow Worm Caves and walked a local trail to admire the views. Had coffee and then lunch at the restaurant. Nice outdoor table to watch the wildlife (parrot, turkey, cockatoo) whilst we eat. Food was tasty, service friendly, and all washed down with local wine. Lovely!

We'd been to Cedar Creek a few times previously and enjoyed it so decided to have a birthday lunch there this time. Unfortunately it was nowhere near as good this time. We had the calamari on previous visits so decided that was the meal for us again. But alas it was such a letdown. The batter (which was a lot... More

Dropped in for lunch. Very friendly staff. Relaxing outside garden space to dine overlooking a lake and gardens. Food was well presented, and no complaints. Local wine from their cellar also was enjoyed. Not on the main drag, but the complex consists of Glow worm caves, winery and restaurant so plenty to make this place worth a stop.

Initially drawn to this place to try their Devonshire Tea and Scones, decided also to do main course here as well! Enjoyed a very generous and tasty cheese platter for 2! Friendly staff and service. Enjoyed a nice view too. We did also indulge in scones and tea...wasn't disappointed! Highly recommend this place. There is also a great cellar door... More

We enjoyed a lunch visit to Cedar Creek Estate. Despite being very busy, they were still excellent with their service and the food and drinks delivery. The al fresco seatings allow a splendid and tranquil view over the duck lake; the wine-tasting, the vineyards, and the glow worm cave tour all make for additional attractions. Without wanting to be mean,... More

We had a delightful lunch and wine tasting at Cedar Creek Winery. Sam - our waitress was efficient, professional and very personable. The pork belly was amazing - cooked to perfection as was the Tasmanian salmon. The prices are very reasonable for the standard of food and presentation. The setting is peaceful and relaxing. We asked for a table with... More
