We found the Petite Auberge the best restaurant in Marciac. Nudged by a rather samey (duck & duck) set menu, we (11 diners) hit the à la carte menu with great determination. The cook rose to the challenge and produced really excellent dishes. Chapeau! The service was friendly and attentive. We strongly recommend this stylish boutique restaurant

We visited this restaurant with friends and family during our recent visit to the area, and was extremely impressed with everything about the restaurant! The service was good and nicely prompt as well. Food was to a very high standard and very reasonably priced for the 3 courses we had. Will definitely look forward to returning in the future when... I was recently taken to here by some friends during a visit. They rated this place very highly, and now so do I! The restaurant was clean and well presented, a very typical local French restaurant. The service was friendly, again typically French. The food came out quickly but we didn't feel rushed at any point. The cassoulet in particular... More

My wife and I ate here mainly because of the appealing menu board and the level pavement outside the restaurant. The Tagliatelle was superb but the Steak and Foie Gois weren't great. We shared a dessert and this was also first class. Cigarette ends in the plant holders and a little lack of care to the surroundings spoiled what could... More

We visited one evening during the Jazz Festival so this restaurant was crazy busy. As we were a pretty large group we were offered the set menu. Whilst we had to wait a little while for our food, we were offered drinks and plenty of bread to start so no-one was complaining. You had a choice between steak and fish... More

Perfect place for dinner prior to attending a concert during the jazz festival. Great atmosphere, good basic food, despite being busy attentive and prompt service, and of course the trad band playing while we dine !

I recommend Le Petit Auberge for a menu dinner. I ordered menu with foie gras, beef steak prepared in local way and regional delicious desert and was delighted. 3 course dinner costed 18 Euro which seems to be a reasonable price. Local red vine Saint Moin was pretty good.

Had a nice lunch here, 4 courses - potage which was a vegetable soup, a duck pastry, steak and desert, plus a small carafe of wine all for 13 euro. Great value!

Late lunch for six early January and we were accommodated very nicely. Oysters and snails were great as well as the salads. We had sole (a special) as a main course with risotto (more like rice pudding) and carrot purée and it was delicious. The service was excellent and we were made to feel at home despite the fact that... More

The only place open on a Sunday evening in Marciac so we had no choice. Whilst the prices were reasonable the food was really not very good. My wife was basically served a bone of lamb with a few millimetres on meat on it. The service, though polite, was very rushed. altogether not an experience we wish to repeat.
