This is an odd little place with only two small tables inside so October may not be the best time to visit. It was definitely chilly. Half the menu items were unavailable and what we did have was unremarkable.

We had sea food with pasta. Is in centre of historic city. Pleasant outside eating area with street view.

This is a lovely little restaurant on one of the main streets in the Old Town which leads to the Castillo Aragonese and also the Cathedral.Because it has so little room inside, relying almost entirely on its half-dozen outside tables, it does not open during the winter months. This is a pity because the food is good and the welcome... More

We visited il Cantico dei Cantici for lunch and dinner. The food was splendid and the staff was excellent and friendly. Do not miss the taglietella vongole!

Stopped for outdoor lunch on a beautiful sunny day. Warm welcome, good menu with lots of seafood choices. Negramaro risotto with scampi was absolutely delicious and was presented beautifully. Would thoroughly recommend.

Recommended by our Italian host, the menu is slightly more expensive than the norm in Otranto but the overall experience didn't justify the extra cost. We had a good meal (house starter, orichette with swordfish & Sicilian pasta) and the waiter provided an appropriate local wine suggestion, but the ambience didn't quite work for us or the other visitors we... We dined here on a recent visit to Otranto. It is one of the better restaurants there with nice fish dish and pasta dishes. Prices are fair for the quality ,service was good. Happy to return again.

The food is delicious, the welcome is warm, the service is informal but professional at the same time. Situated in the heart of the old city, fears of it being a tourist trap with inauthentic food were quickly swept away. Really enjoyed every bit of the two meals we had here, especially the monkfish stew. Unusually for this region, one... More

Antipasto expensive for what they offer and nothing special. I took as second octopus and was very very good and also the pasta taken by my boyfriend was very very good. The place is nice because it's in the centre, the staff was extremelly gentle, maybe they were too many for 6 tables, nevermind. The prices are fair only the antipasto... More
