Our hotel did not recommend this restaurant, but we wanted to try it and loved the ambience and proximity to the water. We were a party of 4. One of us wanted only 1 course, so asked to receive it the same time as the rest of us were served our second. She ordered the grouper and was served when... More

We enjoyed good pasta and seafood for lunch. Being seated in the terrace overlooking the sea.definitely contributes to the overall appeal of this restaurant.

Again it was off season when we visited but we were welcomed and the waiter could not have been more helpful. The fish was fresh and he brought the platter to the table so that we could choose which fish we wanted as well as seeing that it was fresh! We both had pasta to start which was also very... More

I visited Otranto over 4 times and always go there. The best service with Palmiro and the best food and sea view. Don't really trust bad review as I really like good food (I'm from South of Spain, we know a bit about fresh fish...) and wine list is acceptable. Remember that Puglia remind authentic and the food is too.... More

It is very difficult to credit the previous poor reviews of this restaurant or its rating within the town restaurants. The menu had a wide range of food on offer but we did not want too large a meal at lunchtime. The waiter suggested Assaggini Misti which was very reasonably priced. This proved to be a delicious selection of dishes... More

There were only two tables dining the night we went, so perhaps it would have been more exciting with more diners. Our dinner of a salad and pasta with prawns and the swordfish and grilled eggplant was just average. The waiter wanted to sell us the fresh fish of the day, which we didn't want and were concerned that it... More

We had a very pleasant lunch of Seafood Rissotto, it was fresh and the presentation had the wow factor. We had a table on the water side with a fabulous view of the Harbour and the turquoise water. The staff were friendly and attentive. Don't miss a meal at this restaurant on your visit to Otranto.

Chose this more or less at random for lunch after a long walk around town. It is located on the edge of the old town and overlooking the harbour: great spot on a warm and sunny day. Most of the outside section was occupied by a happy but loud bicycling group, so the staff, at our request, placed a table... More
