The place was pretty touristic also off-season, yet we loved the fish dishes. Had two each because was so good.

We were recommended by the local tourist office when we asked to try their local best, true to his word, we ordered their slices of sheep, their local couscous, even the ambience depicted the medieval culture. We tried their local wine from Iglesias, absolutely a 5 star, a definite place to dine and wine

We arrived at this restaurant at around 745 to find it shut up and with no signs of life anywhere to be seen. Don't despair if this happens to you as when we returned 45 minutes later it had sprung into life. And it was definitely worth waiting for. Grab an outdoor table if you can, get the friendly waitress... More

This place is situated in a small street between the two main streets where the main part of the restaurants are situated. That gives it already a cosy terrace to sit and the food is great. Go for their specialties ( dishes starting with Gazebo...) and you'll have a fabulous dinner. Very friendly service as well! One of my favorites!... More

Arrived at 8pm, whilst other restaurants were completely empty, this one already had more than half the tables busy! So make sure that you book. Lovely to sit outside in a quiet side street in the centre of the old town, very atmospheric. (Epecially as on Friday nights in July and August there is a street market when all the... More

On a day trip to Iglesias we had lunch here. The decor is rustic, I'm not sure what it used to be but the owners have kept it authentic. Our waitress was lovely, very helpful & patient, going to the kitchen to enquire about some items on the menu. She recommended a local white wine, not normally our drink of... More

We ate fish absolutely fresh and perfectly grilled accompanied by roasted potatoes cooked with various spices absolutely delicious. The wine selection was first class and we were recommended by a nice and hilarious waitress a superb local wine unknown to us, but that we will never forget.

My wife and I were walking through the streets of Iglasias and happened upon this resteraunt as we wandered about. Enough said...we were the only obvious tourists and the rest of the clientel were locals. Fantastic decore, super clean (inlcuding bathrooms) and the food was outstanding. I was born in Sardegna and we still maintain a summer home there...returning every... More

Half of my beef was tendons, the other half was tasteless. Our waitress was unfriendly from the moment we entered the door. Nice interior though. Maybe the seafood was good.

A nice selection of traditional Sardinian food at an acceptable price. The ambience is superb and the location roomy with little alcoves for privacy. The owner is friendly and speaks many languages and has some interesting stories to tell.
