Great family-run local restaurant being there since ages. You can taste all types of meat (and meat only) and great variety of Valpolicella wines. Highly recommended when in San Giorgio

We stayed in their hotel for 2 nights had dinner in te restaurant one of the evenings. Really good food and service was great. The wine cellar is must to visit.... We had a drink on their nice terrace as well and if the temperature is enough - to have a dinner on the terrace is probably even better...

This lunch was really good! We (2 persons) had 4 dishes each, 1 bottle of wine to share and espresso for about 100 euro. It was worth the price. Good service.

Very good lunch (risotto with asparagus), superb service. We tried glasses of local amarone which we liked very much and asked if the waiter could give us directions to the winery. He certainly could as the small local winery was visible from the front door of restaurant less than 100 m away!

Outdoor is very comfortable, fresh air, relaxed atmosphere. Waiters are quite attentive and give you a lot of suggestions. The chef is quite powerful to tell you how to enjoy your meal, something like, put cheese on the risotto, don't put cheese or spice on bugoti......! Price is very reasonable. Food is good even though they don't have many choices... More

Quirky restaurant in the middle of nowhere. Highly recommended by the owner of the Tommasi vineyard which really means something. Excellent local specialties. Not expensive although the guidebooks have found it.

Fantastic food, created with love and passion, also a place to visit when you are in Verona Area, incredible that one city (a small city) can have so many excellent restaurants, i have been in San Giorgio many times and every time we need to visit all 4 restaturants to remind us about excellent food and wine.

That's the favourite place where we go to have the best Risotto Amarone in Valpolicella and Verona. The other dishes are ok, the owners are a little bit particular. The restaurant is elegant and the location in the village is great. The wine menu is very commercial, with the usual producers you can find anywhere else (we didn't find the... More

The restaurant is in a nice small village on top of one of the hills. They served locally produced food and local wines with great expertise. Their wine cave (which you can visit) is 300 yrs old. The size of the dishes where good. And the food was really great. We especially liked the wild spinach ravioli. Highly recommended.

We had a very good family meal at this restaurant, however when compared to the other local restaurants we visited in the San Giorgio area, this was similar quality Italian food, but overpriced at Euro 180 Vs approximately Euro 110 for our family of five. Note the ameretti Semifreddo was exceptional and the glass of San Giorgio receito devine.
