Very unfriendly manager, asked politely if it was ok just to have a drink, the manager grunted back at me like a caveman, left a dirty cloth at the table, there was lipstick on the glass. Only time I saw the guy smile was when...he talked to a local mate in the bar. The guy shouldn’t be in the hospitality business.More
We ate dinner after a shrimp fishing trip on the island, we came very hungry... The food came fast, and every thing was delicious, the portions were just the right size for children and adults alike and the price was not too expensive. Highly recommended.
We had diner two days in a row simply because we liked the diner served very much. Exellent meat and well prepared. The wines (also available per bottle) are good. We had the Merlot. The meal and wines are pleasantly priced.
The food is excellent. Soup of the week was dutch shrimp bisque. It was overwhelmingly delicious! The main dinner tasted very well. Portions are a little bit too large. As I have read this before, maybe it is wise to make them a bit smaller...or maybe add smaller sidedishes in orde to avoid spoiling food.More
This restaurant was our best pick during our stay in De Koog, Texel. The waitress was extremely kind, attentive and helpful. The starters are large and tasty (the Carpaccio was the only downside). The fans as we're amazing!
We had the ribeye, tournedos and the...lamb, which were all very good. The lamb was average, considering that it is meant to be a speciality.More
Waiters looked to be busy when there was almost nobody to serve, friendly nevertheless. Had to ask for fork and knife after the food was served... forgotten I guess. Food was disappointing. Calf's rib eye made no sense, served with passed broccoli and mushy chips......The meat wasn't cooked evenly. For cheaper price you can easily eat much better of the same dishes in Texel. Not coming backMore
