Came here with my girlfriend. We were casually dressed and didnt know what to expect. Low and behold it was a fancy restaurant with a michelin status. We decided to sit there, me in my flip flops in between well dressed patrons and older guests...because we wanted good food. No point of it was made. I was never once reminded that i was too casually dressed for this establishment. With that out of the way, the food was sublime. An inspiration for the tastebuds, and Sam, our waitress was fantastic and really knew her wines. She recommended me the perfect late harvest sauv blanc to go with my coconut dessert. Top class. Thanks guys for the wonderful experience! Will recommend to anyone to try it. It is a bit pricey, but totally worth it and not extremely bad for your wallet. Think of it as a culinary texel pilgrimage.More

We tried other fine dining restaurants in Texel as well but this one is the best with very delicious food, nice atmosphere and friendly service.

Delicious eaten. Cooking is done with local products. Making a choice from the menu is very difficult. Too many tasty dishes. Very friendly service, they take plenty of time and attention for their customer

The staff was very friendly and the food great. We had a wine selection by Kees, the head waiter, he made some great pairings as it was also a juggle for him because of the new menu. But in the end we were very satisfied...with the classical but still a bit experimental food and great wine. The environment was robust and also classical (out dated in our opinion) and I think it not helps it's located in a Hotel. Well it's not "Bij Jef", its also not like the other restaurants at Texel, deffinitly a visit worth! Also be aware of the house seagull it will probably visit when you dine, looking from the outside =DMore

Dined in this restaurant twice in one week. I think that says enough. Pure quality food together with a very motivated staff that gave us a good service. I had lamb (perfect), my wife had fish (Dorade, excellent). This restaurant deserves the highest qualification. If...I have the give one improvement advice: be more generous with vegetables.More
