My husband, our 2 year-old son and myself tried Eilandkeuken for dinner. Food was excellent, our wishes fulfilled in every detail, and the service was impeccable. The lovely lady who served us this evening was alone ensuring the service of all the tables, and did...a brilliant job. No long waiting times in between meals. Hats off, fully recommended!More

Visited this establishment after googling around for a more upscale eatery (most of these islands have one) and found this Bib Gourmand awarded restaurant with some attractive price for different courses. The interior of this place is elegantly decorated without going over the top while...still being a cosy place. Was warmly welcomed upon arrival and shown to the table. Went for the four course meal - which in general in my opinion covers the tasting of what the island has to offer from product wise - seafood, meat (lamb) and fruits (strawberries) based on the seasonality. They had quite an extensive wine menu - both in price range and taste. All in all, the food - quality and quantity wise - was good, in my opinion the well deserved bib-gourmand standard. The wine which was selected was also very good for the price range. There are a couple of improvement points that will up the level of the restaurant in my opinion: - service could have been more attentive (i requested for lemons in my water, but none arrived despite requesting it twice) - a bit stingy on the bread - only 2 slices offered and no offer for more (the butter btw was absolutely delicious) - ordered apperitive - champagne, which would have been nice if poured table side or informed of the type/producer - missing a nice amuse/palate cleanser between dish - it would have been nice if it was pointed out for the dishes the highlight of the local produces I can imagine some guests complaining here of the slow service, although for me it was ok - am used to this tempo at these refined restaurants and giving guests the time to connect between and during meal time. All in all, I would still recommend this place especially for those wanting to try something more refined while using local produces and the experience. For me it was a good price-quality balance.More

We had the perfect meal, the food was outstanding the restaurant is nice without being over done the only small drawback was that the service was a bit slow. The smoked porc with cabbage was delicious, the lamb was cooked to perfection and the strawberries a...dream. If you are in the area I recommend a visit to EilandkeukenMore

Even though place doesn't scream bring the kids, we were warmly welcomed with our 9 year old and a baby. Getting lovely table with lots of space and a privacy around, was the first step in our enjoyment of the restaurant. Our 6 course dinner...starting with amuse, was very pleasant surprise. Size of the courses was just right and attention to detail obvious. All the dishes were lovely presented and very good on flavor. Smoked eel and gnocchi dish was absolutely spot on and I wish I could eat it again. Lady doing service took great care of us, even though working by herself, it was punctual. Price wise, 6 courses is 65€, wines are very reasonably selected and I would definitely visit again to see if they got the Michelin star, they absolutely deserve.More

We ate here on a Monday evening. Service was friendly and high quality. The restaurant was fairly empty. We chose to have the 3 course michelin gourmand bib menu. One menu choice featured lamb which was an upgrade. We also changed one dessert to a...cheese course for an upgrade. At one point they brought out an extra lamb course for us to share. The portions were good sized and rich in flavour. We were very full and we enjoyed every course very much. Wine prices are reasonable. This is worth a splurge for sure.More

The restaurant itself is rather bland, lighting is not very good, music a bit annoying. The quality of the products is good but they way they put them together is questionable. They try but can't really. They should stick to simpler dishes. Service was very...friendly.More

The meat was perfect-we took the grilled cote de boeuf. The service was fantastic. And coffee with dessert was just an ideal finish of the meal.
