Excellent food with great host. The menu is limited to a daily menu but well balanced between fish, meat and vegan. Really good quality ingredients and nice combinations of flavors. Price is very reasonable especially give the quality of the food.

Lovely environment. Cozy. The food is amazing. Ingredients from the island (the goose was delicious, the grass-fed steak was so tender and desert delicious). The owner was very friendly and her husband is the chef. Decoration is simple but makes a cozy atmosphere.

On our last three trips to Texel we have tried to reserve a table at Freya's but it was always fully booked. This time we got ourselves organised and phoned 2 weeks in advance. The wait was absolutely worth it. The welcome is warm, the...ingredients local and fresh, taste was wonderful and it is very fairly priced. What more could you possibly want from a restaurant?! For our next trip to Texel we'll be booking this restaurant before we book the ferry!More

Visited the restaunt with a party of 6, of which two children. The visit was superb! Food and wine great. Service couldnt be better. Felt true guests and appreciated. Even with our children. The menu is good, standard three-course, one price. Whenever back on Texel,...will go again! Highly recommended.More

We tried to come here last year but hadn’t booked so it was full - our fault . Anyway we booked and tonight we went ! Absolutely beautiful ! I had veal for my main and it was the best I have ever tasted! To...be honest it was one of the best eating experiences we had ! The couple owning this quiet , small restaurant know exactly what they are doing and the fact that a reservation is required every night is plainly clear once you have eaten there. For value for money , taste and overall eating experience - it’s simply the best . Thank you so much for making my birthday so memorable . We will most certainly return .More

Let's call it a cute restaurant. It serves fresh fish, it serves Texel lamb, which was the reason we came. And we were not disappointed. A delicious meal, a memorable meal. We had a great time. One thing to remember, reservations are a must.

Had a great evening there. The three-course menu is tremendous value for money, and every course was great. A must-go for a stay on Texel. With excellent service, makes you feel at home right away. Just great!
