Excellent addition to local eateries. Found through personal recommendation - would never have come up to Lochantully otherwise. This is a barbecue style restaurant. Only opened in July 2021, and what the setting lacked in ambiance & style was totally made up for by the...quality of the food, the friendliness of the welcome and the empty plates of all the diners. Great staff who were doubling as bar staff to help out Lochantully. An extensive menu of steaks and seafood we opted for wings & nachos as starters. Delicious - home made (even the tacos) - great starters. Then for the mains we went for bbq brisket and bbq pulled pork in loaded fries. Wow - enormous helpings. Lots of chilli & garlic in both ( I’d ask for mine without next time). A refreshing change on the restaurant circuit - we wish them every success & hope this fledgling business survives in a competitive market. Try this if in the area.More

3 of us popped up in the restaurant without table reservation. They were able to accomodate us in an our. Well worth waiting! Staff was friendly and knowledgeable, wonderful food from the grill, delicius puddings, great service, reasonable prices. Looking forward to go back again!

It's hard to know where to start! From beginning to end Jon provided a first class service to cater for 60'ish guests with a wonderful hog roasting in the garden. Just home after an amazing meal here tonight. Despite being a last minute booking we were met with a very warm welcome. After months of home cooking going out tonight was a special treat. Locally sourced food all cooked fresh to order on the BBQ...coupled with exceptional service meant we were not disappointed. Good luck with your venture and we will definitely be back.More

We went as a family of 6. Had different choices everyone enjoyed their food. Large portions and very tasty. Would highly recommend especially for families as not expensive for freshly made food. Only wee niggle was the bottles of beer had not been chilled but...that is just our preference. Just go you will enjoy.More

We enjoyed the lobster fresh from their onsite smoker and barbecue. It came served with fresh salad and chips in the friendly family atmosphere of their dining area which we throughly enjoyed. We will make a point of returning (hopefully many times) in the future.

Try here if you're looking for something different! Food was amazing. Had Cajun chicken and pit vegetables. Tastiest food I'd had in ages. It's a bit out of the way but it was lovely to escape the busy atmosphere of Aviemore and great scenery on...the short drive 15 mins. We'll worth the effort. The specials of lobster and langoustines looked very tasty and definitely a reason to return and try them 😋More

Our party of 10 visited recently - easy to book online through Facebook. Given current situation, was good to see plenty of space between tables and all staff in masks. The staff explained the options on ordering - the food is predominantly based around smoked...bbq, so brisket, pork, chicken etc. with various options such as fried, salad or smoked veg. We tried all of these, along with steaks from the grill. All food was really tasty, with good portion sizes, The smoker ensured the food was succulent and tasty - the smoked veg was really tasty, and none of the flavours were overwhelmed with smoke. If they have them on, recommend the languostines as a starter or with the ribeye as a surf and turf. Talking of steaks, my son had the kids menu which has steak with a £3 supplement, I'd have been happy with the portion size and the steak was really good quality.More
