Mackies is a fast food restaurant right on the port stanley waterfront. The line is often long, but their homemade orange-aid and fries are renowned in the area. Locals and tourists flock to this restaurant for its fun atmosphere, full arcade and special ketchup. This is a "must-see" for port tourists.

Perch & chips a MUST, accompanied by Mackie's original Orangeade & Mackie's french fry dipping sauce. Great place to take your hungry family.

Have been going to Mackie's for years. It has been a tradition in our family to take the grandkids there on the Friday before Easter. The fries are great, especially with Mackie's sauce, although it is not for everyone. I do detect a bit of cinnamon in the sauce . Yum.The orangeade is very good but again not to everyone's... More

Our grandkids love to come but it's not the food they care so much about ; it's the kiddy rides and games that they like ( requiring lots of loonies and toonies from Grandma and Grandpa to play). The place , right on the beach , is clean, spacious and kid friendly, so they can run around and horse around... More

You either love it or not. It's their "secret" sauce that really makes your hot dog and their home made relish is good too. Their frys are the best, cut and cooked to perfection and of course you have to have the sauce on those too. Orangeade is good. The best part is this is it is a well established restaurant... More

This place was toted as the "have to experience" by the locally raised lady behind the counter at our hotel. We were not overly impressed unfortunately. The food was your typical beach burgers/fries/fountain drink establishment. We thought that the food was good, but somewhat over rated. We tried the "special sauce and the orange aid" as highly recommended but didn't... More

Mackie's French Fries, the best I have had in years. Fresh cut fries cooked to perfection . The fries reminded me of Ireland.

Fish and chips were pretty meh. The fish looked like its from the frozen section from a store. The special Orangeade kinda tastes like the old mcdonalds orange drink with crushed up clementine pulp. Fries were good, and its a really great place for families with kids. lots of rides and things to do while you eat!

If you visit Port Stanley, you have to have a Mackie's Orangeade! But now I've learned you also have to have Mackie's Orangeade Milkshake! They are delicious and taste similar to a creamsicle milkshake. I highly recommend getting but the Orangeade drink and milkshake because you just can't beat the sweet orangey drink with bits of orange pulp!

Not a sit down kibd place, felt like more of a cafteria than anything. If I had kids I'm sure they'd enjoy it but as for us it wasn't pleasant
