Came here most nights, friendly staff, nice Guinness, not the best i have had but pretty good. Food was well priced and most nights good (differed a little with chefs but only slightly). . Pool table was good and staff were 'great craic' ha ha. My only recommendation would be to open later . Ie Irish times not kiwi times... More

I chose the Craic as it has a nice sunny position with a large outdoor sitting area on a street corner with a man outside playing a banging. I stopped for a pint and a spot of lunch and it hit the spot just right. Could have been tempted to stay a while longer but I had a long journey... More

This places serves ordinary pub food. My cheap steak super tough but I did not pay much so I got what I paid for. I ate there once, walked by the outdoor tables many times and talked with others who visited . This place can be busy and all the customers seem to be having a good time. I would... More

My wife and I called in for an early dinner and drink and enjoyed ourselves. I had a "seafood platter" which was very good coupled with an obligatory Guinness beer and thoroughly recommend both. The pub is centrally located and has plenty of free car parking nearby. The staff were helpful and polite. The restaurant is "interesting" with great ambience.... More

We had just completed a three hour walk over the hills so the cold beer went down very well. Service was fairly average and not too friendly. This was on Saturday 18th March so maybe all the staff were still hungover from St Patrick's day?? Ordered some beef nachos. Pretty damn average with next to no mince and a rubbery... More

This the place for beersies food and chilling out to the live music that they have on somedays. Food is cheaply priced only place with woodfire pizza. So glad claire cook is back in there with her workers rad & harmz as the food is back to totally gobsmacking yum. Awesome guys and staff you all rock.

Smelly place, good for a beer but that's it and an elephant can't make any damage to the interior, wines are here less then average in taste

Was just looking for a basic feed and nice atmosphere as I eat out a lot and get sick of the brassieres style menus and small servings. The Craic pub delivered exactly what I was looking for. Had the steak, egg and chips with a few pints of Montieths Ale whilst watching the cricket. Great service from the friendly staff... More

a nice warm evening so felt like a light meal outside. I ordered nachos and my husband ordered wedges. Wedges seemed to be your standard frozen wedges served with sour cream and cheese. Not good, not bad. My nachos consisted of a big stack of corn chips with a couple of tablespoons of mince and beans and a lot of... More
