What a great place at Lago Coatepeque. We had breakfast here with great service. The view is amazing, its a lovely place to sit, enjoy a meal and the scenery. We liked this place more than la Pampa, for its charm and more Salvadoran authentic...feel.More

An amazing view and a pretty good food

Sometimes a restaurant does not need to provide the guests with the best quality food, though, it may be excellent, such as the Solsticio. The view guests can enjoy from the terrace is simply extraordinary. The lake, the mountains around... very beautiful! Nothing is wrong...with the food, and nothing is extraordinary either. Good food, but you came here to enjoy more the view than your food. There is nothing to complaint about, except - perhaps - that the service was somewhat too long, and the payment extremely long. But who cared? While waiting for the service, you could enjoy the amazing view!More

Awesome view and excellent service

We went just to have a couple of drinks to cool down since it was a really hot day in the city. Even though we just ordered a piña colada, a glass of sangria and nachos the waiter and the manager were really nice with...us, we even got a chance to win a free tree and we did get it!! I really recommend this nice place, excellent service and an amazing view of the lakeMore

What a place!

I'm in love with this restaurant! We were told that we couldn't leave El Salvador without visiting Coatepeque lake, and they were right! What we didn't know is that here we would find one of our greatest experience in our whole trip to this little...beautiful country. The staff is so nice, the food taste amazing, and the place is just magical with an amazing view and a great concept. We changed our schedule that day to stay in this wonderful place for longer and enjoy the desserts and the white sangria!!!More

Nice lunch with awesome view

I had lunch in here and it was pretty good. The plates were well served with decorations and little details which make any food look (and taste) better. But, what I liked the most was the view...its awesome and the lake impressive. This made the...eating experience a great experienceMore

Lovely Views, Staff and Delicious Food!

We had two meals at this restaurant. Our first experience was dinner. We very much enjoyed the freshness of the food, the selection of wines, and the kindness and competence of the staff. The owners came by to greet the guests, and they seemed genuinely...interested in what we had to say about the locations, the mysticism of the place (which is quite palpable). They served us a wonderful apple pie! We returned to next day for lunch, and the food was just as good as the night before. My only disappointment was that they were out of apple pie. The location is stunning; the lake is very beautiful, especially when the sun begins to go down. The staff and owners seem dedicated and want to please their guests. That's commendable!More
