Unfortunately, this hotel and restaurant burned down before i was able to write my review. We went for lunch on a nice sunny day in August 2016. Everything was perfect, the beautiful building, the surrounding dunes and seaside. Lets hope they rebuild it - and in classic style!

Book in advance, it could be difficult to get a table in the high season, guests at the hotel are preferred. The restaurant is serving top quality food both for lunch and dinner. You will not regret it if you try this charming and historic restaurant. The hotel has 3 restaurants, the blue, red and yellow, we preferred the yellow... More

Two parents and three kids (9, 7 and 3) for lunch. This place takes you back to the beach vacation of the upperclass in the 1930s. It is an undisturbed jewel. The setting is out of this world and the food is superb. Traditional danish dishes with a twist and presented better than anywhere else. This kitchen is very capable... More

Tried going for lunch. After driving quite a bit to reach the place, we were met by a permanent looking sign saying the restaurant was full and/or reserved for hotel guests. We still went inside and despite lot's of vacant tables they still maintained they were full. We were offered to sit outside in 17 degrees and gale winds, so... More

We stayed a couple of nights (see separate review on the hotel) and dined in the restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner. All the time we were served "relaxed gourmet style" meals - top quality ingredients, innovative preparations, artisticly arranged and served with a smile by the young and very charming staff. You can opt for the svinkloev menu, the... More

If you'r not a resident book lunch or coffee long before. The hotel and restaurante is famous for good reasons. We had a reservation for 13.45 lunch (frokost) enjoying fabulous fish meetballs after spending longe time in queue with kiosk costumers. Next day we simply stoped for a cold botle of beer on the bench outside, after 50 km bike... More

went there on our annual dinner for the 10th time, as usual a great experience. The three pillars at Svinkløv are (to my experience) ambience, staff and food. Dinner was good, fresh and follows the traditional high-end cuisine thinking as you would expect. Staff was simply very friendly and attentive, most important is really the laid back atmosphere, which is... More

Exclusive food in a simple setting with a stunning sea view. Worth a visit, but a stay in the hotel completes the experience.

We were on vacation and accidentally stumbled upon this hidden gem. We had coffee and their famous walnut cake as a well deserved break from the windy beach. This place not only has a unique atmosphere, the view from the restaurant and outdoor serving is amazing. We sadly did not have time to try out the full menu, so we... More
