This place offers an authentic experience and food. The waiter was doing her best in explaining the different dishes as the menu is in Italian only, but we manage very well. The "Fantasia di mare" and "Orata al forno" were just great, accompanied by a great bottle of local a "Satrico Casale".

We were looking for something that was open and good. The locals recommended it and we gave it a try. All nice, but the food was very basic and lacked any wow factor whatsoever. So again, nice dinner, but not worth returning to. The staff with their smiles and warm hospitality made for a pleasant evening. So as you walk... More

During a walk in the evening , by the edge of the canal full of boats , we found the El Pirata . We booked a table for two and we were the first customers to arrive. We were well received , although the restaurant was not open. Champagne flutes , wonderful freshly baked rolls , attentive service , and... More

Don not expect high cuisine, but fishes are very taste and delicious. Bottles of Chianti wine at a very reasonable price.

Stopped here virtually at random while walking around the channel area. Host helped us by bringing an assortment of antipasti. All were delicious, but the polipo grigliata was especially delicious. The clams and mussels in a wine broth were very fresh. After the robust first course, only one of us could manage a second, which was risotto tutti mare. It... More

Our driver recommended this place and he was not wrong. A quick 15-20Euro cab ride from the hotel airport and you are there! We were having trouble with the menu being in all Italian, however the manager asked what we were in the mood for and we just put our dinner in his hands. We are a big fish eating... More

We were in FIumicino our last night in Rome to be near the airport. It's a lovely little seaside town with several restaurants. We settled on this one as we could see a fire blazing on a raised hearth inside and once we had our food we knew why it was there. We ordered and split roasted veggies, seafood risotto... More
