Hubby had beef and I had the turkey, both cooked to perfection and vegetables well cooked too. What let it down today was the lukewarm gravy, it is normally piping hot and spoilt an otherwise great meal. Would have given 5 stars othrrwise.

We wanted Fish & Chips for lunch but with my elderly parents couldn't sit outside so plumped for the pub lunch. Despite a very clearly priced menu outside a newly priced menu was on the tables exactly the same only named the Easter menu and more expensive.... We ordered 2 Coffee's and two tea and when eventually arriving were luke... More

Fairly busy on a Bank holiday but pleasant and helpful staff and whilst we were not able to get a table with a view we had a comfortable table in the interior. The carvery was very good with a selection of three meats and a wide range of freshly cooked vegetables.

open 12 till 9 most days for a wonderful carvery. The meat is the best in the region, whereas the vegetables are standard fare, but nicely cooked. Other dishes are available, but i haven't wanted to give up on the carvery. The staff are superb and make my 88 year old father very welcome when he goes there by himself... More

From my first enquiry (thanks Sevrin) through to the surprise on the night, the staff (thanks Nicholas) ensured everything went smoothly and couldn't have been more helpful. The venue is perfect and the buffet was the best I have ever known (thanks Barbara) Cannot praise highly enough!

Highly recommend trying to get one of the tables upstairs because of the stunning view across the bay! Most of party had the carvery whilst I had the fish and chips - there was a slight delay but completely worthwhile as the meal was execellent. Staff were very friendly too.

Welcoming staff who seated us quickly even though they were busy. The food was amazing! Much more generous in their meat portions than a well known carvery chain. They even made me gluten free gravy. Can't believe it was only 2 meals for £10! Would definitely go again when I'm in the area.

Thank you so much to Barbara, Nicholas and Sevrin for all their help in organising my brother's 21st birthday surprise party. The upstairs room is beautiful and was just the right size for our needs. The buffet provided was fantastic, very tasty. Would definitely recommend it :)
