Stayed twice after visiting Scotland.Good Covid protocol adhered to by all staff and guests. Two excellent evening meals, well priced, and service very good.Stayed in two different rooms both with good facilities and comfy bed. What really makes the hotel is the own Nigel, he goes out...of his way to make your stay first class.More

We had a one night stopover on our return from Scotland. The hotel has good covid protocols and the room was a good size. The evening meal was very reasonably priced and was very tasty. A cooked breakfast was provided. The price for the room...was very reasonable. All in all, very good value.More

Easily accessible from the motorway this is an excellent location for visiting the southwest of Scotland. Very comfortable accommodation, friendly atmosphere and the dog can stay too. Food presentation is a work of art and it tastes very good too. I'd give it ten stars...if I could.More

Stayed here twice during June at the start and end of our holiday to the Highlands just to break up the long journeys. Stayed on a Friday and Saturday. Hotel is easy to find just off the motorway.Easy parking right outside the front door. Staff...at this hotel are friendly and service is good. Enjoyed both breakfasts and evening meals we had here. Menu choice pretty good. Food and drink reasonably priced and good quality. Rooms are comfortable, clean and tidy. My wife and I had both left articles of clothing behind on our first visit (scarf and a cap) but a fortnight later the cleaning staff produced them within minutes of me inquiring. They had been put aside just in case the owners came back for them. You don't tend to get that type of service in large chain hotels. Definitely stay here again on our next journey to the HighlandsMore

Comfortable. Very pleasant staff. Delicious food. Two of us ordered the black pudding stack as a starter which was delicious followed by perfectly cooked sirloin steak which they brought to us to show before it was cooked. Fault less cooking.

We had booked initially for a place to meet with family as it was mid-point between us and Glasgow. We arrived early on Friday evening and were greeted by friendly staff and shown immediately to our table in the restaurant. Service was good, menu choice...was good and the food was reasonable. as the weekend involved exchange of children and a weekend away we elected to reconvene at the same place for Sunday lunch. We weren't disappointed. If you're travelling on the A74(M) then I would recommend a small detour for some decent food.More

It’s traditional pub food with a Scottish slant, in that you will see haggis on the menu for evening meal and breakfast. But the food is excellently presented, and there is usually a daily special which is always great.
