To reach the coffee shop/dining area, you go through a well stocked small farm shop/deli, including local fruit, veg and eggs. We enjoyed good coffee in the sunny little garden at the back - no-one else there (mid-week) and sitting in the sun was lovely.

I have been here a few times when visiting family in the area and they serve a great cup of coffee - and if the weather suits there is a relaxing little terrace to enjoy it in. The staff are very helpful and friendly in my experience, even when busy (which they were every time I have been in!) .

Good choice of products in shop, staff have always been very friendly, and it's nice to take a coffee and a very tasty sausage rolls, actually the sausages rolls are my main reason for visiting!

Very lovely shop , but unfortunately because of the staff ( young man) I don't like to go there. He is alway grampy... I really don't know why they still hold him there. I spoke with other people and it's not only my opinion.

What you would expect in Winchelsea, a well presented General Store / Deli / Coffee Shop with an eclectic range of goods with some great cheeses. Nice courtyard for enjoying a snack.

We arrived in Winchelsea, having walked from the beach, via footpaths through fields along lanes, and up steps to the village. We had seen this cafe marked on the map. However, it seems it has not been a 'cafe' for over a year, but they do take away hot drinks and you can use their cafe area or outside chairs/tables to... More

Myself and my partner were visiting Winchelsea for the weekend and found this lovely little place situated not even 100 yards from where we were staying. Although the coffee shop was closed, we still sat in the lovely seating area and had a cup of tea and a sausage roll, which were lovely and fresh and very tasty! The service... More

Just about the only place in Winchelsea to get a hot drink during the day. It's the village shop, but also does drinks and cakes - we had an excellent Eccles Cake. You can take away or consume in seats at the back.

Just popped in for a coffee and were astonished at the range of provisions and groceries available. Coffee bar now closed but the shop sells take-out coffee/tea which you can drink in the gardens.

Lovely shop, the staff were friendly and treated our 12yr old daughter so nicely. Had a lovely coffee and sat in the back yard. Will definitely come again
