We dropped in for lunch mid way through a 6 mile walk. We had pre-booked, but there was plenty of room. Warm welcome and great service. I had lamb shank, friends had chicken pie or fish and chips. All delicious! Recommended!

Nice place to have a drink during the day - sit in their nautical themed garden. If you go at night check their opening times as they have external catering and the pub closes. Nice butchers and deli on site

The mussels were delicious. Light touch service in a delightful garden on a summer's day. Mmm. There's also an excellent butcher's (which supplies the pub), and a well stocked deli.
