I was looking for a place to eat lunch and ended up all the way at the end of the village without being able to find anything open and decent. So I ate here. It was not good at all. The watermelon water tasted sour and spoiled. I asked them to change it which they did. The main dish (something... More

My husband had some fish dish, but I made the mistake of choosing the ceviche. DON'T PICK THIS DISH. It's an assortment of over-cooked frutti di mare in some sort of Heinz 57-type sweet BBQ sauce. Just terrible, and I couldn't even eat half of it, and that was w/ my husband helping me.

Tania's has a great selections of dishes for both vegans, vegetarians and omnivores. The food is good and most ingredients are local.

Nice staff but bland food, though one person in our group did like her fillet al ajo and the vegetarian appetizers were yummy.

Tanias seems to be open for every meal and is always a comfortable, friendly, affordable option. We aren't really into seafood, which is what everyone raves about, but we figured out that their meat plates, like Bistec ala Mexicana and Pollo ala Diabla (kinda picante) were delicious and a great value. I think they were around 60 or 70 pesos... More

We stopped by on our way to the Centro de la Tortuga on a hot afternoon, we were the only customers and the place was quiet and peaceful. The food was good but what I appreciated was the little chat we had with the owner, who recommended a visit to the nearby La Ventanilla, which we absolutely loved and possibly... More

Since my adult teeth came through I don't think I have ever left a meal half eaten. I don't think I've ever eaten cat food before either. Don't get the tacos. Avoid at all costs. I should have known when the guacamole was dreadful, how does this even happen? I'm sorry because the lady who served us was quite lovely,... More

I had a mediocre experience at Tania's. We tried the Tania's fish of the day and the shrimp stuffed avocado. The fish was fresh but were doused in a heavy cream-sauce that took away from the dish and the aguacate relleno was basically just shrimp in the avocado shell (where's the yummy green part??). The service was good and the... More
