Fantastic in every sense. The setting is beautiful and hidden away, service is second to-none and the food and wine list high quality and extensive. Can’t fault it. Going back in late December!

Don't be put off by preconceived notions; you will be able to relax and be well treated in a very relaxed atmosphere. Stuffiness is not a Derbyshire trait.

We opted for our own wine choice. One bottle was sufficient with dinner and the list is good with some affordable choices.the set wine tasting was too heavy on whites and we prefer reds.
