"Do you serve grilled sardines" said I? "Yes" said the waiter, pointing to the picture of the five inches tasty fish at the front of the resturant. "I will have those please" say I. Looking forward to one of the special meals of my trip. After a lengthy delay-the plate come to the table. A plate full of WHITEBAIT! "Where... More

Found this place first day and went back to it again. Their spinach pie is amazing. Would really recommend for a quick lunch. Friendly service too.

Had lunch here on our last day and seriously wished we had visited before. We went for the mixed fish dishes for two. Enough to feed an army and very well prepared with a Greek salad to start. Good red wine served at room temperature which may sound odd but a lot of the cheap restaurants serve it cold from... More

I know this tavern fro many years. Still very tasty, nice service and very kind waiters. Have a lunch and go to swim or vice versa.

food is just bad, they charge you extra probably because you are a tourist, waiters probably swore an oath not to smile. even though I had my lunch in that place, waiter woke me up and said I had to eat there to use the sunbeds. That will explain enough about the place. Just go to another place

We went there for lunch according to recommendation from travel guide, but this turned out to barely justified. Fava was actually quite good, but Gyros was one of the worst I have ever seen... very poor meat quality, lot's of fat. But the most disappointing issue was the service: rather slow after taking the first orders and especially when it's... More

A typical Greek taverna selling standard fare that you would expect. Reasonably priced but the food is not sensational. Worth a visit though as the waiters are personable when you get to know them.

We came here three times on our two weeks stay, the people is friendly and polite, the food was great, and the prices cheap.

We ate here almost upon arrival in Kamari as our flight got in at 9pm and it was just what we wanted. Typical Greek taverna with friendly staff - 2 of us ate Stifado and the other 2 had fried calamari rings with salad and chips (I'm English so I mean "french fries"/"fried potatoes" and not crisps!) and we all... Really nothing special, I ordered moussaka which seemed industrial vs home made. service OK but all in all very mediocre experience - would not go back. So many other much nicer restaurants - this is just another tourist trap
