The food was delicious as was the sparkling wine. It would have been made even better by having tea as part of the afternoon tea.

On 12 th Jan 2017 my girlfriend and I biked in for high tea with my daughter to find that the hotel service was APPALLING. As well as the quality of the high tea. I was annoyed and complained to the staff. There was no manager on duty. The child's high tea never turned up and the staff said they... More

An ordinary experience. It is tiresome looking for someone to serve you. It is even more tiresome when the people who come to serve you clearly have not been trained to serve. This is unfair to the staff. Bottom line thinking is NOT working.

Took some visitors from the UK to high tea at Versace last week as we had been for high tea several years ago and thought they would enjoy it. The food presented was Christmas inspired and was OK but was somewhat of a confusion of flavours. But it was the seating arrangement that was disappointing, with four adults squashed around... More

Had Xmas High Tea there on Xmas Eve... seems like a modified normal menu, and not very Xmas-ie in presentation, but still good. Staff was good and efficient (it wasn't busy when we got there, which probably helped).

Breakfast was reasonable. Service left a lot to be desired waited over one hour for coffee and even longer for a simple breakfast. Several people were served before us. The wait staff were not friendly and did not apologise for the service.

Fantastic service by wonderfully polite and friendly staff. Delicious High Tea. Dressed in our tizzy clothes fit for the occasion. All marred by the noise of literally a couple of hundred people waiting in the echoing main foyer (of which the cafe is a part) waiting for (to us) some unknown minor celebrity from the UK version of a reality... Our favourite cafe on the Gold Coast, we have been coming here for a few years now. Always warm friendly service and atmosphere, great coffee and yummy French based dishes and pastries.
