Beautiful spot in Palmy that isn't loud or overly packed like a lot of places are these days. It's got a lovely calming environment with amazing breakfast food and unreal coffee. Just a really great place to have a Sunday brekky.

Great food at this Cafe/Restaurant whether you want a cup of coffee or a full meal. The fresh muffins made daily are not to be missed. Service is good with fresh water being served for free while you are there. Right on the main road and 1 minute walk to beach.

We went to avvia last saturday night for a dinner with family. We ordered the ribs entree and the octopus piri piri as well as salmon mains and lamb shoulder mains. All of them were fantastic. The flavours were complex and rich. There was one chef who was cooking everything fresh so it took some time but it was well... More

Everything about this restaurant is beautiful. The customer service, the food, the cocktails and of course the layout and view. Avvia has a beautiful view of the beach without having to fight of seagulls. It ticks all the right boxes for a well executed restaurant on the Gold Coast. Will definitely be back!!

Apart from great coffee, great ambience, great service, the Okonomiyaki was superb! Light fluffy Japanese pancake, crispy bacon and beautiful Japanese mayo and sauce, took me back 12 years to when I enjoyed this dish at a Teppan bar in Osaka. You know your dining experience is great when it evokes great memories. Hubby's salmon benedict was also superb. We... More

I appreciated the generally relaxed atmosphere here, helped by the restaurant being open to the sea breeze. Service was efficient but a little constrained, the latter being unusual in Australia, but food was on the whole pretty good, though my scallops in the main course were over cooked. Still, a place to return to next time I'm in the area.

Friends and I had yet another lovely breakfast at Avvia today. The atmosphere is so beachy, relaxing and stylish and the menu offers so many delectables it's hard to pick. This time around I had the Tahitian Style French Toast which was an awesome sweet treat for breaky. Total indulgence. As we all agreed well be back to work our... More

AVVIA is a relaxed yet stylish restaurant located in Palm Beach, Gold Coast. We offer Beautiful coffee & cafe meals for breakfast, al a carte for lunch and stepping it up at dinner. Our food is made with the best ingredients we can find in our area: cultivated plants grown from heirloom seeds; wild-harvested leaves, flowers, barks and roots; local fish, seaweeds and coastal grasses; pastured meat, poultry and eggs from small farmers. These are the flavours of this place. The process of finding ingredients and transforming them into cuisine are not separate events but one continuous action constantly informed by cultural expectations and new ideas. We brine, cure and smoke as cooks have been doing for thousands of years but we also embrace modern cooking techniques. Our dishes are animated by flavours and textures both familiar and strange. This Is What AVVIA Is About.
