Fantastic local tapas bar. We only ate here one lunchtime but the food was excellent - a real find among the more international restaurants. Evening's seemed a bit hit and miss - it's obviously a very local bar and most evenings it was full of locals watching football, it felt a little awkward.

Located on a row of bars and restaurants that offer tapas and pintxos. This is a basque bar and offers typical basque dishes such as bacalo pil pil . Recommend if you fancy trying something different or some decent tapas. There is also a playground in front of the restaurant so you can sit and eat and drink and watch... More

Fantastic food - the house salad (Goats cheese) was absolutely delicious. Authentic Basque food - I'll go back

We stopped here for some tapas and a drink. We got 5 tapas in total between three of us and we loved all the dishes. The lady serving us was really friendly but had little English. We left full and satisfied!

Had 2 large beer and 2 glasses of white wine. The bill came to 13.30 which I felt was a bit steep. I decided to query with the lady who served us and she arrived back with a refund of 4.70. She didn't speak any English so I'm not sure what the explanation for the overcharge was.

Went here traditional Canarian restaurant. Small quiet. Let the owner decide what tapas we had. Was brill and cheap as chips. Best Sangria we had all holiday and one of the best ever. 👍👍👍👍👍

Found Taxpella last year were looking forward to returning this year. Nothing has has changed, all very good. We had brunch, lunch and dinner here and all excellent. We have given a very good rating this year as there are other tapas bars with more choice and Taxpella menu is quite limited but whatever we've had is excellent. The local cider... More

Sitting here on our last day for a leisurely lunch waiting for our airport pick up. Just had various tapas (again) & they were excellent. The couple who run this bar speak very little English, or should I say, we speak very little Spanish, but do their best to explain the dishes to you. Try this place, you will love... More

Stopped here primarily because of it's access to the playground out front for our little one to play in. The menu was mostly tapas with a number of main courses as well, the owner doesn't speak very much English but we managed to understand each other and he was very nice, especially to our 4 year old. I was tempted... More
